We have tried all of Otto’s products including his croissants this morning, and without a doubt his bread is out of this world...great crust, moist and chewy inside and the taste is mouthwatering; try his breads...you will not be disappointed!!

Otto’s Bread Company is the best bakery in Monterey County. Every baked good is perfect, from bread to croissants. The ciabatta has a chewy crunchy crust and a moist soft chewy inside with perfect saltiness. The brownie is huge with nice flavor. The cheese, Junipero, is tasty and just right with the bread. Early morning hours feel warm and comfortable, with the aroma of freshly baked bread, dim lights, and soft talks. The seeded sourdough has caraway, making the flavor unique. The classic croissant has a perfect comb and buttery sweetness, and the monkey bread is elegant. The plain croissants are full of butter flavor with a flaky exterior and chewy interior, like those in France. The pretzel is large, flavorful, and authentic with a dark brown chewy exterior. The seeded sourdough loaf has an “ear,” an open texture, and delicious flavors from the seeds. The sourdough baguettes are the best on earth. Everything is superb and delicious, true artisan bread. The almond croissant is incredible, easily top 2 ever had. This is a place a city should be proud of, started out of love and passion, felt through the bread and pastries and seen through the staff.
