Sit outside if you want to have a conversation with your dining partner. VERY loud inside. Wait staff were very accommodating when we asked to move. Couldn't be nicer, frankly. Loved the food, and a huge menu.
Best HB Lager served in boots! Great Bretzen Good beef stew and Spätlzle; however, it wasn't Gulasch... They ran out of desserts....
Welcoming service & delicious!! I tried the cabbage rolls and absolutely loved them. 10/10

What a fun and yummy place for unique food. And the beers and cocktails are just as good. Be sure to try the big pretzel (crazy good), homemade stuffed cabbage rolls, signature burger (yes it is delicious) and the spaetzle! We love this place.

We have a weekly dinner club that visits old favorites and new restaurants every week. This was our first visit and all four members gave 5 stars. What a local gem. Incredible food, wide selection, very friendly service and of course, a great selection of beer. We will be back often. Highly recommend.
This is not good quality food nor German. I am German/American and visit family regularly. I had stuffed cabbage - mushy cabbage, no spices in the ground beef. Hubby had vegetarian schnitzel..The beer may be great, it was a lively place, but not good food. Won‘t be going back

We come here frequently and are never disappointed. The food is "like mom used to make" and even sometimes a bit better! Once you find a favorite, it's tough to try new items because what they do, they do so very well!
Very great dinner as always. We love the staff here as they take care of us and elevate the experience
We had a taste for German food, it was great! Very friendly service, didn't feel rushed. A little pricey, but portions are large with plenty to take home for another meal.
One of the BEST dinners we have had here in CV! Drinks, food, staff and service was fantastic. The owner spent a lot of time chatting and answering questions about HER homeland. We went there because one in our group has Celiac Disease and this restaurant treats that seriously and offers amazing food that normally someone who NEEDS gluten free can enjoy amazing food! We will be back!

This was my first time and Holy Schnitzel! We will be back. I had one bite of the chicken cabbage soup and literally told my husband “I could die and go to heaven now.” All of our meals were incredibly flavorful! 10/10 recommend!!

We were all surprised at the amount of offerings at Alps Village. We had a great time and very good food. Some of us are Gluten Free and they had many items. The only regret is that it was my son's birthday and I stated it on the reservation. I don't think they looked at that and he was not celebrated, We were all involved in the menu and the good food that I forget to remind them of the birthday. We walked in and they did not even look at the reservation. I mentioned that we had reservations but they did not say anything. We definitely will go there again to try other foods.
Great food, and amazing service! The menu offers many choices... You can't go wrong if you like schnitzel, beer and strudel.
Oh how we love this restaurant. Authentic and family run. Food is always delicious and the service tip top!!!!
ALPS Village is a true gem in Palm Desert! My husband I have been coming for years and are never disappointed. The schnitzel was perfectly crisp, the sausages full of flavor, and the spaetzle and red cabbage tasted authentically German. Service was warm and attentive, and the cozy atmosphere made the whole evening feel special. Can't wait to come back!
