I rarely leave negative reviews, but my recent visit to this restaurant bar was a letdown. The service was painfully slow from the moment I walked in. It took ages to get anyone’s attention, and when my food finally arrived, it wasn’t even what I ordered. Trying to get it corrected felt like an even bigger chore. The only saving grace of the night was Anna, the bartender she was friendly, attentive, and clearly the only one who seemed to care about the customers. Unfortunately, one good staff member isn't enough to make up for an otherwise frustrating experience. I won’t be coming back. Currently writing this from the toilet experiencing the wrong explosions and liquids on 4th of July.

The highlight was Vida Mezcal – absolutely amazing! The drinks were top-notch and crafted with real care. If the service had matched the quality of the cocktails, this could’ve been a great experience.
Unfortunately, the service from Ximena really brought things down. It felt like she didn’t want to be there — slow, inattentive, and lacking basic courtesy. It’s hard to enjoy such a vibrant place when the energy at the table is off.
On the food side, the sushi was solid, and overall, the dishes were above average – but nothing stood out quite like the Mezcal.
Aquifer 65 has potential, especially with a bar like that set against an awesome Lobby with views of resort. Just hope the service improves to match it.

The real highlight, though, is the sushi—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Combined with great service and a relaxed, upscale atmosphere, it’s a perfect spot for a night out or a casual bite with a touch of elegance.

Aquifer65 is a beautiful bar and sushi restaurant in the middle of the hotel lobby. Spectacular cocktails and sushi. Reasonable prices. Very full after 6pm. Really beautiful bar. Definitely recommended !

We got the buffalo wings and French fries! They were delicious! I highly recommend them and would order them again! It’s a nice area to enjoy the game and appetizer food. It gets kinda loud and crowded but we were able to enjoy their meal. Sadly they only have Pepsi products here.

Date of Visit: 7/5/2024 Worst service! We visited the Aquifer 65 lobby lounge at JW Marriott Desert Springs Resort and Spa at around 10:50pm. We sat at the table and tried to order a cocktail with 3 servers. Finally after we ordered with one of the server, another server came by and asked us to order at the bar since he said the table service has ended. However, there was still table service for few tables around us 10min after that!

What an amazing place to chill, enjoy a few drinks, grab some fresh sushi and listen to live music. Ricky was our server on Saturday night and was very efficient, professional and kind. We have been going to this spot for about 8 years and just thoroughly enjoy the vibe and ambiance. We started with Don Julio Blanco, club soda, 3 limes muddled and mint and then ordered the crunchy roll and jw roll. I also had a ceasar salad. The two entertainers were fantastic and played a wide range of rock and roll and country hits. The customer service and overall experience were simply therapeutic. Highly recommended.
