We went there for a surprise birthday dinner for our aunt on Tuesday the 16th, called and made reservations, never been there before, wanted 6pm, the person said they only had a 515 table available, so we accepted that time slot. We get there, restaurant looks nice, wait staff very nice, we planned a nice relaxing birthday dinner, we order drinks, them deviled eggs, flatbread, for apps, the flatbread was burnt on both ends, the eggs were good, then it was about 555pm, the waiter came by and said we needed to order dinner by 6pm, we were shocked, we rushed to the menu and ordered, we felt rushed after that since the kitchen was closing and they were all trying to clean up to go home, we had no idea the kitchen was taking ladt order at 6pm or we would not have chosen this restaurant for this occasion. I spoke to a manager the next day, he said well this is the time the kitchen takes last order, I said the person taking the reservation should have let us know. He then asked if we had a good experience, I explained the night, the food, and do on, he wanted us to come back when they have longer kitchen hours, and offer a modest discount, I said no. I thought he might have offered to comp 2 meals at the very least, for my uncle and my aunt, at least they could have gone back to have a relaxing meal. I said thanks for the effort and the manager said happy holidays. We won't be going back.
Welcoming restaurant with a great view from the elevated terrace. We ordered escargot, flatbread, shrimp Louis salad and a burger. All very tasty, well presented and cheerfully served.
Beautiful atmosphere, great service, great food and provides food and drink specials. Enjoyed so much brought our friends in@
The menu at Bellatrix has changed and the food is really good. I also noticed that the wine list has expanded. Enjoy sitting outside in the covered patio looking out at the beautiful desert as we eat. It's quiet outside and the waiters are very good. While it is a little out of the way (across the freeway off of Cook and Varner Road) it is well worth the drive.
Great happy hour value. Nice wait staff and a beautiful setting overlooking the golf course.
Went for prime rib night. The meal was fantastic, good portions and quality The service was great.. highly recommend
I just love this restaurant. Inside is more fine dining feel and the patio a bit more relaxed. Food is always good and service is always great.
The service was fantastic and the setting is really nice!!! Now that weather is cooling, lunch on balcony would be ideal! Food did not disappoint...tasty and nicely presented!
Overpriced for mediocre food.

As a new member to the community, my partner, and I were looking for a place to enjoy a nice meal. Luckily, we stumbled upon this place. We ended up having some appetizers with a nice bottle of champagne and boy did they deliver.
The food was both delicious and beautiful. The champagne was refreshing and crisp.
We’ll definitely have to come back try some more bites.
Overall, I would say the road leading up to Bellatrix was beautifully maintained and laid out. Parking is plentiful, and as an added bonus, they also have community event events.
More importantly, if you’re reading this, remember to make it a great day. That choice is always yours!

We were the only one's in the restaurant. The service & food was fantastic. We were 4 persons celebrating my wife's birthday & had the greatest service.
I have eaten here many times. Food is always excellent -- this time I got the stroganoff and it was over-salted but still very good. Robins, birthday meal was great and overall, very happy.
Went for Italian night, our second visit to Bellatrix. It was re-opening day for the season and that made service a bit uneven and not quite as attentive as our first visit. Italian night is a 3 course dinner and glass of house wine for $45 per person, a real deal! Service was slow without explanation. Our reservation was at 4 pm and other diners were finishing up their meals. Several more parties came in after us and the noise level increased. My husband had pasta Fagiola soup for his first course. He said it was ok, but he's had better. He had Veal Parmesan for his entree which was a huge portion, filling the plate and more. He ate only 1/3rd and brought home the remainder for leftovers. I started with Burrata and Heirloom Tomatoes. It was wonderful. The tomatoes were perfectly ripe and the Burrata cheese matched well. I had Osso Bucco for my entree and I was underwhelmed. There was more bone than meat on my plate and the risotto, while plentiful, tasted quite starchy. We both finished with the Lemon Torte which we felt was the best part of the meal.
Our experience was quite good mostly because of our terrific server, Amy. Salads were outstanding. One entree, manicotti, was very good however one person came especially for the branzino and even though we were very early diners, they were out of branzino. Overall our experience was delightful.
