Stopped here on our way to Orange County and didn’t want the usual fast food but needed to get a quick meal. Sandwiches were great! Bread and ingredients were fresh! Will definitely come back if we are passing thru. Got the West Coast which came with a nice squaw bread and Beef Dip that came piping hot!

I ordered the Italian Combo and it was fantastic! I liked that they kept the sandwich simple without over-doing it (you cannot say that about a lot of sandwich shops these days).
The service and atmosphere matched the sandwich! I cannot wait to come back and try something else!

This review is in the Desert Springs area in California. While traveling from Tucson to the Bay area with our doggies, we needed a quick meal on the run, so I googled the nearby sandwich options available. To many times, I settle for the same old burger, hot dog, or burrito crap on the run.The Brown Bag Cafe looked like a good choice since it was the closest to the I-10 exit. As it turned out, it was definitely the best decision of the day!
As soon as we walked in, Barbara greeted us with a friendly smile and our menu options. The place is small and sort of plain looking, but the sandwiches turn out to be anything but plain. The order was quickly filled, and Star the sandwich maker did an excellent job creating our meal. But once we got on the road, that's when the real pleasure began. With the first bite, I knew that it was a winner! Freshly toasted bread and plenty of meat, cheese, and garnish made it one of the best pastrami sandwiches I've had in a while! My girlfriends turkey and cheese were just as satisfying.
So if you're ever in the area or in a rush, the Brown Bag is an excellent option ?

We love this place, my coworkers and I come here all of the time. Super friendly ladies, great sandwiches and always busy! West Coast, Chicken Salad and Spicy Italian are great sandwiches.

Friendly staff in a cozy welcoming environment. The sandwiches are delicious and very reasonably priced. They also have house made sides like pasta salad and deviled eggs. Highly recommend this to anyone looking for a good lunch. Dine in or take out.

Wanted something other than fast food on our road trip home and found this Deli. We had 7 people with us and everyone loved their sandwiches! The manager was really sweet and personable. It only took us a minute to jump back on the freeway too. Great find!

Best sandwich I have had since I can remember. We stopped to grab lunch on our drive from AZ to CA. I ordered the West Coast, my husband had the Turkey, Bacon and Avocado, and both were incredibly delicious! This small business delivered flavorful, fresh sandwiches, with fast, friendly service! We will be back next time we are in the area!

These were the kindest ladies ever!! Not only was my sandwich amazing, I was met with a lovely conversation with barbara and star. These were genuinely such sweet and generous people!! And the cherry on top was it was reasonably priced. Thank you for the lovely service and interaction
