I decided to give this place a shot despite the 4.1 rating but I wish I had just ordered elsewhere. I takeout ordered through Grubhub. Waited over 30 minutes before going to pick up, well past the estimated pickup time and they told me they didn’t put the order in. Then I waited for 15 more minutes for them to prepare it and wasn’t offered any kind of compensation/coupon/free item for the error on their side. It doesn’t matter though because the food was dreadful. Tasted nothing like Indian food. We got three different meat dishes and they all tasted similar with this weird lime taste mixed in. Portions were also quite small given the $20/dish price which doesn’t include rice. Also, the garlic naan bread was overdone and partially burnt. $75 for a very mediocre meal. Don’t waste your money here.

5/5 Amazing food. We got 5 different dishes with different levels of spice. Everyone was happy with their spice levels and Everything was perfect and so delicious! The soup was amazing too. Definitely will be going back next time we are in town!

A wonderful alternative to all of the over-priced and poor-service Indian offerings in the valley. The food is great, reasonably priced, and the service is always excellent. This is the only Indian restaurant I recommend to anyone visiting the area.

Excellent food! 2 of us, we ordered sizzling tandoori chicken, chicken tikka, curry chicken & butter chicken and of course rice served with the meal!
It’s too difficult to pick a favorite so we ordered a lot of lunch! This will be dinner & lunch tomorrow too.
Service excellent, and there is a non self serve buffet but a server, not to worry about dirty hand touching the food or serving pieces, it’s very clean and sanitary, it’s enclosed in glass with great choices if you're on a budget. Abhlshek was very kind & professional! Very clean and nice atmosphere. We will be back!

My wife and I had dinner at Monsoon a few nights ago. We’re from Vancouver, BC where there are dozens of outstanding Indian restaurants, so it’s safe to say that we’ve been spoiled with Indian food. We ordered the vegetarian samosas, chicken korma for my wife and a hot beef curry for myself. The samosas were outstanding and both of us loved our curries. We have been to two other Indian restaurants in the desert and both failed miserably in everything we ordered. We highly recommend, if you love Indian food, to forget all others and go to Monsoon on Jefferson. You won’t be disappointed.

No buffet in this location.
Again, no buffet.
They have lunch special but it's not a buffet.

Good food otherwise.

This looks like a new branch of monsoon India in Palm Springs desert. The review is only for food at this location - very good quality food- we had vegetarian and all the dishes were well made, right flavor , not too spicy and not too oily. Highly recommend if looking for good veg Indian food. Staff is very nice and welcoming . Do recommend channa masala, malai kofta, bhindi and dal tadka .
