Monsoon Indian Cuisine

We went for their buffet service and there was a lot of variety of food, so we had the chance to try dishes we wouldn't normally order. The food quality was just as good during the buffet as it is when you order. The atmosphere is casual and the service was warm.

These guys are the reason I eat Indian food.
Was coming back from a long road trip (Flagstaff Arizona-Santa Monica) and was feeling hungry. Decided to stop here. After deliberation, I got the butter chicken. (4/10 Spice) I'm still searching for a place as good as this place. The chef even came out to ask how we were doing. Nice guy. If you're in the area, give it a try.

Monsoon Indian Cuisine is a little gem that truly deserves more than 5 stars. We drove to Palm Desert 2 days ago and were craving Indian food. Tired after a long 8 hour drive, we walked into the restaurant at 8:15 pm and were extremely touched by the warmth and hospitality of the lady who ushered us in and took care of our needs starting us on some papad with mildly flavored onion masala. The garlic naan and parathas were soft and bursting with flavor. The palak paneer and baingan bharta were superbly prepared. We felt we were in heaven as we relished the food spiced to the level we specified - the very best in a long time. The chef came to meet us to make sure everything was okay and we were very touched. We highly recommend this place to all!

Best Indian ngl been to a lot all
around the world and yet nothing can beat there flavors they have. Chicken tiki masala one of the best dishes they got.

We were at this restaurant on Mar 7, 2026 for dinner. As much as I appreciate the willingness of the staff to help (they were short staffed), the delay was too long. Food quality wasn't good either. Chicken kadahi had too much turmeric in it and lamb curry was average. It could be an off day for them in terms of service but food quality cannot be a off day.

What an amazing place !! Its a hidden gem in the desert of Palm Springs region. I loved the vibe, decor and hospitality of this restaurant. The food is rightly spiced, has tonnes of variety. Garlic naan is so so good.

Do not eat here. Watched the chef/cook pick up raw chicken, no gloves and then proceeded to dip his fingers in the seasonings. Without washing his hands. That is just one of the cross contaminations/ health violations I saw while here. If you wanna take the risk and chance getting sick by all means but if not stay away.

Monsoon is located in the back of a nondescript strip mall. But oh, my. The food is absolutely fantastic. We have eaten here several times and our favorite dishes so far have been Lamb Korma, Butter Chicken and the Mixed Grill. Wonderful staff as well. Very friendly and responsive.
