This restaurant is truly special. Their Thanksgiving spread and service were incredible and we could easily see that they all work as a family not just co workers. They gave my Dad’s girlfriend a wonderful spread of birthday desserts, the whole restaurant sang to her and they even had football going for the Ravens fans next to us! The chef personally came to talk with us and I’d like to give a special shout out to Gina. One of the best servers I’ve ever had at a restaurant. I hope we make it back soon!

Took friends here for dinner. The woman at the front could not be ruder, she needs to learn some basic manners in how to talk to customers. She informed us that since we did not have a reservation we were going to be seated in the empty restaurant, but had to leave within 1 1/2 hours that the table time. The we ordered and our food was a joke. One friend had a turkey Cobb that had hardly anything on it. The greens looked like they came out of a bag. She stated she got a really good Cobb at Farmer Boys, it actually had something to eat and enjoy. We have dined here year around but will no longer not worth it. Very sad ending for a once great place to dine.
We came to Cactus Jacks on a whim. In town for a conference. I had the mahi tacos and my sister had the Ruben. Mahi tacos could have had more flavor but the texture was perfect. My sister devoured her sandwich. We shared a delicious chocolate cake a la mode. We ate so fast we forgot to take pics. Flora was a great attentive server. Will come back again when in town.

Columbia Water Gardens
Excellent food and service. I had the American Lamb medium rare.... excellent. You can use a little help on salad making, but other than that you did a great job. I'll be back.

Well I have fond memories of having a burger from this place when it used to cook for the local schools in the area. I wanted to try the actual restaurant for myself as an adult and man what a mistake that was. First off the food was put together poorly. The sandwich had dry turkey and one leaf of iceberg lettuce and the tomato soup was chunky. I sent it back and asked for a burger. I got the burger and the patty was so dry and burnt all i could taste was burnt meat and a rough patty. I also sent it back. Just to have the chef named Martin come out and rudely ask what was wrong with ME. Why I sent back the food. I told him why for each dish to be scoffed at by him. Not once but twice he harassed me, to the point I had to tell him to get away from me. There was no manager on site and i had to leave stressed out, hungry and honestly mortified that I had to stand up for myself just for sending food back.
Never going back there again. The whole operation felt poorly managed and maintained. The cutlery wasn't even clean. Had to ask for all new dish ware since it all had food on it.
As a local. I say go anywhere else. It's not worth the over priced and poorly managed restaurant. Especially if you will send food back. You might get harassed like I did. Not worth it. 0 out of 10 would not recommend.
