The two starters we shared - the ahi tartare and the country pate- were both delicious and generous. We had the roasted rack of lamb (perfectly seasoned and medium rare), the duck a'la'orange (gorgeous) and the shrimp crepes (with a lovely cilantro seasoned filling). We loved everything!
This is a favorite restaurant for us, but rarely do we get there on Sunday...well, if you just have a fresh really worth the calories croissant (like in France) and a latte, you will be very happy. But, you could add on something else, maybe eggs Benedict? Great setting, professional attentive staff, prompt service, and the bill is reasonable! Do you need anything else? Get 2 croissants?
Sammy our server and the hostess were exceptional. My friends and I enjoyed the service and the food and the way we were treated. We'll definitely go back.
Everyone is so accommodating and friendly. A lovely place we return to every year during our vacation with excellent food , service and ambiance.
We have been eating at Cafe Des Beaux-Arts for years. It is reliably good for it's food and service, and we especially appreciate that it is quiet and there aren't TV's everywhere you look. The food is typical French fare and is prepared well. We have had breakfast, lunch and dinner there and there are adequate menu choices for almost anyone at any meal. The service is swift and efficient . Our dinner last night was excellent.
This is one of our regular stops. it is consistent. Nice atmosphere, good food and service. Like everything these days it's a tad pricey. Portions are not large. Drinks are good. Service is good. Old school staff that has been there for years
We love Cafe des Beux Arts! Food, service, ambience are always wonderful. Dinner last night was wonderful.
Excellent food and service! Highly recommend on all levels. All staff very friendly and efficient and bread. Apps entrees and desserts all amazing Thank you!
We had sandabs my husband and I . I couldn’t finish mine because it had a funny taste . I didn’t feel good after I left the restaurant. I told the manager but he didn’t offer any consideration; he seemed very indifferent to the situation. With tax and tip our bill came to just $300 for very disappointing meal .
Great atmosphere!

Easily one of the best dinners we've had in Palm Desert anywhere we have eaten near many times and we do consider it our favorite restaurant. But tonight was over the top service setting the food was impeccable. We dined on mignon and trout As I said it made our evening so we scheduled again for this coming Thursday 5 o'clock before heading off to the ballet
We were a group of 8 who arrived early, except one of group. We asked for seperate checks, asked our waiter to take pictures of us nothing was a problem for the staff. They were very friendly and accommodating! We all agreed they are always ready to please their patrons and make them feel welcome!
Enjoyed lunch in this quaint French outpost amid the shopping of El Paseo. The moment you step in, you feel as though you are in an old cafe on the French Riviera. That there were some French-speakers seated near us did not hurt, either! The staff was friendly. The vichyssoie was as good as I make it (!) and also had an herb in it that I could not quite place which made the soup even better. My wife enjoyed the muchroom and chicken creps and I had the most delectible ham-and-brie sandwich in my life. Our bottle of rose just made things better.
