Easily one of the best dinners we've had in Palm Desert anywhere we have eaten near many times and we do consider it our favorite restaurant. But tonight was over the top service setting the food was impeccable. We dined on mignon and trout As I said it made our evening so we scheduled again for this coming Thursday 5 o'clock before heading off to the ballet

We were a group of 8 who arrived early, except one of group. We asked for seperate checks, asked our waiter to take pictures of us nothing was a problem for the staff. They were very friendly and accommodating! We all agreed they are always ready to please their patrons and make them feel welcome!

The staff is absolutely lovely! Couldn't be warmer or more welcoming. My vichyssoise was excellent as was my husband's French onion soup and his coq au vin. Unfortunately, my sand dabs were terrible - very overcooked and chewy - which was disappointing. The side potatoes were excellent and the green beans were very flavorful but overcooked. We had Nutella and banana crepes for dessert which were fine but not fabulous. $130 for dinner for 2 with tip and no alcohol which didn't seem unreasonable. It was our first time dining there. Because the staff was so nice, I will try the restaurant again.

Our go too restaurant every time we spend a couple of weeks in Palm Desert! Reasonably priced menu and a great selection of choices! Bill & tge rest if his staff do an outstanding job. Try it , you won't be disappointed!!

Front of the house very friendly. Food is good overall. Excellent seafood stew and sand dabs fish. Way too sweet orange sauce on the duck. Next time I'll just get it on the side. Our waitress was disappointing. professional but slow and not very attentive.

Cute place, offering decent cuisine, although lacking in authentic French dishes. Unfortunately, there is no air conditioning, but ceiling fans are available.

The food was barely adequate. There was stale bread. No French restaurant should have stale bread. Our salads were mediocre with wilted greens. The entree plates were very hot which probably signaled that the meals had been under a heat lamp for too long. Because the plates were so hot that the sauces separated. This truly was a disappointment.

First time here. Ordered escargot app and the seafood in puff pastry entree. Price was much higher (over $10 higher) than menu listed online! They did offer a reasonable price summer prix fixe menu. Escargot was good. Butterfly & garlicky. The bay scallops in the seafood could have been much better & the shrimp was overcooked. There was minimal sauce. The top of the puff pastry was hard and inedible. Definitely wouldn't order this dish again. Might give another try for lunch and order a different dish. Good corkage fee as well.
