Trio salad was fresh and delicious. Not so for the St Louis ribs. Had them here last March and April and they were meaty and delicious. This time they were awful: tiny, tough and hard to find the meat. I reported this to the server and he said they would “do something about this”. We shall see.

We came from out of town and heard wonderful things about CaliCafe, so of course we had to try it! We are happy to say, it did not disappoint!! The service was impeccable, everyone was so happy and friendly and super attentive. We brought our doggy and they sat us down on their lovely patio with beautiful views of the golf course and palm trees. And the FOOD! Delicious is an understatement. We had veggie omelette, California omelette and we loved the fact that we can substitute the toast with pancakes or biscuits and gravy. I got the blueberry pancakes and my husband got the biscuits and gravy, the pancakes were so fluffy and buttery! Of course we had to get a mimosa to top of such a lovely breakfast. Definitely a must-visit anytime you are in Palm Springs area. Can’t wait to return to try the lunch!

Had dinner last night with a friend. Shared a patty melt which was very good and enjoyed the sunset while sipping on some wine. The staff were very friendly and efficient. The whole experience was very good. If you’re looking for casual meal, with a very friendly staff, look no further the Cali Cafe. You will not be disappointed!

Waitress started to take our order but the phone rang & she said, “I have to get this “. Then she proceeded to take a customer’s order on the phone. Should the customer in front of you take presided over the one on the phone. She brought our order, no napkins & I had to go find some. Terrible customer service & they were not busy.
Nothing like being cheap and overcharging for Cali Cafe's breakfast menu ! Their omelettes are TWO egg omelettes and every other local restaurant serves THREE eggs in their omelettes ! Will never go there and get overcharged !!!

Clam chowder had too much pepper aftertaste. Inedible. Patty melt meat was tough and processed. Need to use fresh hamburger meat. Also needs more grilled onions. Seems that they are skimping on fresh ingredients.
