After a busy week and having missed Mexican fare lately as we just moved to Palm Desert, I chose Carmen's for takeout. My food arrived hot and fragrant! A shrimp taco was generous and very delicious. The birria tacos are beyond delicious with the perfectly seasoned consomme. While exploring the area for good food from various sources, I will look forward to coming back to Carmen's often! | Service: 5/5 Recommended dishes Taco Birria, Flan, and shrimp taco.

Looking for homestyle Mexican food,this is your place. Very casual layer back restaurant serving delicious food. Our group of ten all enjoyed our meals. Cup of yummy potatoes soup to start for all along with fresh warm chips and a nicely spiced salsa. Burritos , tacos, peppers stuffed with shrimp, enchiladas, rice and beans. No complaints here... stop in and enjoy great food and FRIENDLY SERVICE.

Delighted to savor the delicious food, amazing service and cool atmosphere. Much more than expected. You must try- meals large and the fajita plate was perfectly seasoned and served hot! Enough for 2. Drink could be spiked a bit more, but the blended margarita was beautiful and tasty. I’ll take a photo next time- I admired it so and couldn’t wait to dive in, so no photo. Casual. Ample parking.
