Castañeda's Mexican Food

My visit here in 2023 was ok. The fish tacos were good, everything else was pretty bad. It was a late night and it was one of the only restaurants available and it somehow went under my overall expectations. At least the staff were not bad at the time.

I order a Milanesa torta and I’m very sorry but it was horrible the worse of all tortas in my life absolutely gross, don’t recommend the place it’s a really disgrace for Mexican cousins 👎👎

Lady at the drive throu acts like you are asking her for money. Rude attitude.

Negative stars. I pull up at 2 am. Whole crew (3 employees) getting turnt on the outside patio. Smoking and drinking, and they can't be bothered to go inside and take your order. Just close this location.... what's the point of being 24 hrs??? You're just paying people to get faded? If that's the case hire people with personality at least!

Burrito was not cooked and smells like fabulouso mop cleaner. A manager won’t even answer the phone.

Im honestly very disappointed i got my food and my fries were hard and uncooked, after the fact i already brought that same plate back because they messed it up. the female at the window gave me attitude because i wanted my order right i even said “im sorry about that thank you” and she kept rolling her eyes at me and threw her hands up. all i wanted was some good asada fries but atleast now i know that this location isnt the best spot to eat at.

We grabbed it in a pinch and it was well worth it. Reasonably priced and good salsa.

At this location the employees clocked-in will take their break at the same time, and refuse service. (6:30am)

Go to Goody’s next door if you want a reliable early/late night bite.

Management and owners should look into employee time-theft.

I work at a hotel 2 blocks away from this embarrassment, and we all have decided to boycott this location. We had 2 people get sick after we had a lunch order for us all, and I've personally had numerous problems at different times recently. The last straw was when I was told "we're not taking orders right now we've received too many" while I was in the Drive-Thru. This was about 6 weeks ago around 3pm. Sorry to bother you! I'll never make that mistake again! I also used to recommend this place to guests who would ask for restaurant recommendations in the area... Now I make sure to tell them to "STAY AWAY FROM CASTANEDA'S!!"

Cold burrito :(

I had seen these on every corner on our vacation and was actually excited to try it. I was surprised to walk in and see it was fast food. We both ordered the taco and quesadilla combo. The taco was different but just ok. The quesadilla was too greasy and made with cheddar cheese which I didn't care for. I will say the beans and rice were the highlight of the meal. Overpriced for what you get. Do not recommend. The workers were very friendly though

I came back from a long trip starving, there was multiple cars in line but they weren’t taking anybody’s order, they were just sitting back on their phones laughing. The doors were locked and every sign was on (open), me thinking it was open but instead it looks like they don’t want to make any money or serve anybody. It wasn’t the first time and I’m also local. Ridiculous I recommend going to the Washington and Varner Castaneda 100% service satisfaction.
