Castañeda's Mexican Food

I work at a hotel 2 blocks away from this embarrassment, and we all have decided to boycott this location. We had 2 people get sick after we had a lunch order for us all, and I've personally had numerous problems at different times recently. The last straw was when I was told "we're not taking orders right now we've received too many" while I was in the Drive-Thru. This was about 6 weeks ago around 3pm. Sorry to bother you! I'll never make that mistake again! I also used to recommend this place to guests who would ask for restaurant recommendations in the area... Now I make sure to tell them to "STAY AWAY FROM CASTANEDA'S!!"

Cold burrito :(

I had seen these on every corner on our vacation and was actually excited to try it. I was surprised to walk in and see it was fast food. We both ordered the taco and quesadilla combo. The taco was different but just ok. The quesadilla was too greasy and made with cheddar cheese which I didn't care for. I will say the beans and rice were the highlight of the meal. Overpriced for what you get. Do not recommend. The workers were very friendly though

I came back from a long trip starving, there was multiple cars in line but they weren’t taking anybody’s order, they were just sitting back on their phones laughing. The doors were locked and every sign was on (open), me thinking it was open but instead it looks like they don’t want to make any money or serve anybody. It wasn’t the first time and I’m also local. Ridiculous I recommend going to the Washington and Varner Castaneda 100% service satisfaction.

Went there for breakfast at 6:30 am and the “Open” sign was lit but no one was at the register. Waited several minutes before driving to the window and the cashier was sitting at a table waving me away because he was apparently on a break. The only other employee was the cook and he wasn’t cashier trained. The attitude from the first employee seemed like I should have known not to come there (to a 24-hour joint). Service is consistently subpar at this location and I have decided to never eat here again, which is sad because I wanted to try their breakfast burritos. There is Goody’s Cafe right across the parking lot that I highly recommend eating at instead, assuming it’s open.

I have been to this place several times for food and it was always good, I ordered the shepherd's cake but today I chose to order a shepherd's donkey and I don't think it was the best, the portion is very good but the amount of fat that came out of the Donkey was what I didn't like, I always stopped by for something to eat after leaving work late since they are open 24 hours a day, I hope I don't have a stomach ache from the food...

Hubby’s flight came in after 10pm and I needed to feed that man!! Thankfully, I found this 24 hour Mexican restaurant and the food was delicious!!!

Worst experience I’ve ever had eating at a restaurant. We waited almost an hour for our food with no party waiting in-front of us. They served 2 larger parties with almost the same exact orders as us before us when they came in after us. We understand a mistake on placing the order cards in the wrong spot but at least a sorry would be nice. We expressed our feelings asking why the other parties who showed up after us were served before and the lady in the photo was very rude and stated “at least your food came out” very loudly in the restraint, no sorry or acknowledgement. She even spoke in Spanish to the other workers asking why they messed up thinking we would not understand. Will never be returning and if you what a positive experience neither should you.

Consistently delicious Mexican food. It is decorated like a fast food place so don't expect any ambiance
