Going to that restaurant since it open 30 years ago, it's always been one of my favorites on El Paseo still as good as the first day of open, highly recommend it.
Ordered skirt steak salad and it was steak but not skirt steak. Dressing didn't taste like ranch.
The food and service were great. On a hot summer day, the temperature inside was uncomfortably cold.
After little back and forth with the reservations, the girl at the desk was absolutely wonderful. She knew who I was when I walked in and she escorted us to our table. The food was delicious and our choice of wine, great. Even though I blame myself for the mixup with the reservations everything tuned out perfect. Thank you.
Our waitress was fantastic! Unfortunately, the meat on my French Dip was fatty and tasteless. I will return but will order something different next time.
The waitress was not exceptionally pleasant :(. The restaurant is really showing its age and needs to be cleaned up.
The daily grill has consistently maintains a high level of service and food quality. Good selection of food choice for a diverse group of people. Our server was excellent and it's a great place to meet with friends and family.
We ended up eating at the bar instead of the dining room. Ashley was our bartender and server. Food, drinks and service were terrific!
We had the French dip sandwich and the chicken pot pie. While well cooked and presented- both were super bland. Drinks and fries and service were awesome!
There were five of us and everyone's food was perfect. Key lime pie and apple cobbler was a hit . Service great. Highly recommend meatloaf if you like meatloaf . This place never lets you down .

Food and service was great. Had to move tables as air conditioners were not working properly. Tough to have a restaurant in Palm Desert with 30 year old air conditioners!
I've have eaten at the Daily Grill numerous times and always enjoyed it otherwise we wouldn't have come back. Unfortunately this time was disappointing and had it been our first time probably would've not return. Service was not good. Had to ask for bread, rarely saw the waiter and after the meal never asked if we would like coffee or desert. So we left. Very disappointing. Especially for such a nicer restaurant.
Waitress was very pleasant and very helpful .Excellent service. Food served to all four of us was very very good.
The Daily Grill has long been a favorite, offering consistent service and a familiar menu. Unfortunately, our recent visit didn't quite live up to expectations. While the staff remained attentive and friendly as always, the restaurant itself is beginning to show its age. The décor and ambiance feel noticeably worn and outdated, giving the impression that the space hasn't kept pace with the evolving local dining scene. As for the food, it was just okay—nothing stood out. Salads arrived undressed despite being ordered with dressing, and the flavors were generally lacking across the board. It felt like the kitchen was going through the motions rather than delivering the thoughtful, flavorful dishes we've enjoyed in the past. The Daily Grill still has potential, but it's time for a refresh—both in terms of the space and the menu—to bring back the vibrancy that once made it a go-to spot.
Our waiter, Eric, was very good... Food good, a bit pricey, booths in back for two a little tight but overall a good experience
