Cool brewery and good vibes
Awesome brewery with a great selection of classic and unique beers. Devon was cool and shared some brew knowledge. Love to see people doing what they love because the vibe is contagious. Cheers!
This place is a hidden treasure in the desert !
Desert Beer Company was our off-the-beaten-pint stop on a California brewery tour—because sometimes you need a break from poolside cocktails at the JW Marriott to find out what the locals are really drinking.
We wandered in on a slow Saturday afternoon and were instantly charmed by Rye, the bartender with just the right amount of dry wit and beer wisdom. The tap list? A glorious, ever-rotating lineup of house-brewed goodness. From AmericanoWeiss to Popo’s Porto to a cheeky little Mexican lager, there was something for every tastebud, commitment level, and mood swing.
The vibe is unbothered and unfussy. Think merch wall, board games, open tables, and zero pressure to pretend you know what hops are (but also, Devon—the “Padawan” Brew Master—is happy to explain). Speaking of Devon, he’s the low-key genius behind the brews and the reason the beer list changes more often than your cousin’s dating status.
We ordered a build-your-own flight and let loose: A Perfect Date (just like it sounds), Pinche Cerveza (don’t ask, just drink), a smooth American Wheat, a solid Brown, and a few bold IPAs. But the scene-stealer? Tee Off. Devon hyped it as his pride and joy—and he wasn’t lying. That beer could get invited to brunch.
We also got a 40 to go of the Desert Bloom on Rye’s recommendation—partly because we wanted to see her bust out the canning tool I’d been eyeing all day. What’s a souvenir if you can’t drink it later?
Before we left, Devon casually dropped that he’s opening a new spot in Indio: Desert Beer Pints and Pizza. Yes please, and thank you. If the beer’s anything like this batch, consider us already waiting in line with a slice in one hand and a pint in the other.
Owner Devon and crew produce spectacular beer! We love this place, AND it's pooch friendly!!
Fantastic!
We went out for margaritas, while at a local mexican restaurant, that sadly sucked and didn't have a happy hour, I decided to jump on google for a beer place and came across Desert Beer Co.
Settled up on our mediocre chips & salsa &margaritas and drove over to Desert Beer Co.
So, so glad we did!
Fantastic beer and! Root beer!
I am such a fan of craft Root Beer.
My honey had the Devastation a triple IPA at 10.5%
I am not a beer drinker, so when I took a sip, I was like Whoa nelly! I could drink this! Wonderful aroma to it and the taste was good if not great. Remember I am not a beer drinker mind you so when I would consider drinking a beer it's damn tasty.
They do have some food at reasonable prices too.
Great place, with friendly staff and good ambiance.
If you're a beer lover or a root beer lover this is your place!
Oh and they will can beer on the spot for you to take home.
Enjoy
Wild beer selection, chilled out brewery space, and friendly servers. Loved it.
Best brewery visit in many states. Bartender FANTASTIC! Beer diverse and really tasty. Don't miss this place!!!
Beer was great. Highly recommend the “Mexican candy” beer - unique, sweet and poignant.
Staff were fantastic and professional.
Adam and a blonde woman (whose name I didn’t catch) were on top of things, speedy, and friendly.
The owner walked in at around 9pm and threw a temper tantrum. He started kicking beer tanks and throwing things, slamming doors, and eventually had to cool off in the freezer or walk in fridge? He seems like an absolutely unprofessional nightmare. His tantrum made many patrons leave immediately. I feel so sad for the staff that works there. The owner seems like a toxic, immature man-child who will undoubtedly run that brewery into the ground.
Great beers! Brewer is super friendly and happy to explain his beers. The cinnamon tortilla chips are like that Taco Bell dessert chips. Lots of variety of beer styles.
Restaurantji Recommends
I had some samples as this was my first visit. They were all solid. Great place to hang out, have a beer, chat with the locals and meet some new people.
Delicious chabelas and hilarious options on tap!
Great beer and a fun atmosphere
Best spot in the Coachella valley for a real authentic brewery, great beer, and the best and knowledgeable staff ever! Always check their Facebook or Instagram page to see what food vendors will be there before you visit!
? ? ? Great vibes, good music, and a very friendly staff that can give you suggestions and tasters. They have a variety of different creative beers. The brewjitsu is super light, hatch 25 is nice and solid IPAs.
They had Mexican food with tacos and ceviche that sounded good but we just came for drinks today.
