Katie, the owner, is incredible! She’s always super personable and friendly and knows her wine. The shop has a great variety from approachable midweek wines to collectible bottles. Quite literally everything in between. Check out the natural section near the back for fun and playful wines! Thank you for being so great Katie!

A fantastic wine shop with very knowledgeable staff and a great selection of wines

We've been patrons of The Desert Wine Shop on Hwy 111 in LA Quinta for over 3 years. We really enjoy a smaller locally owned business, not a "big box" version. The Desert Wine Shop has superior customer service, extremely knowledgeable of their products and features twice weekly tastings that offer a selection of wines from around the world, superior to a winery club that offers only their own wines. We've experienced quite the variety, always in good company, with friendly, knowledgeable staff.

Cute little store. Learned about this place from my patient. If you are lonely in the desert definitely stop by here for their weekly wine tasting tuesdays and friday evenings from 4:30 to 7 pm. Bring $10 to enjoy a 5 to 7 wine tasting flight. It was nice that they have wines from new zealand to try. It was nice and different. Big crowd shows up. No real dress code but most people dressed nice. The sommliers are very knowledgable. The owner katie is really down the earth and friendly. Free surface parking lot. Reasonably priced wines available.

I wanted to gift a family member some wine for mother's day. I was pleasantly surprised to find this store in La Quinta and saw that they even deliver! I love the selection and great customer service. My family member is very happy ?.

Such a great spot to buy some wine! I’m visiting from out of town on work, and the selection of wine at my hotel was horrific. I Searched for a wine shop near me and found this place. They had a beautiful selection of wines from all over the world and even introduced me to a couple I have never heard of. Thanks so much for everything.

Best wine shop in the valley. All of the staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. Excellent wines at all price ranges. Wine tastings on Tuesdays and Fridays are a must.
