We were flexible with seating and were rewarded with a wonderful evening. I wish I had the waitress name, so I could publicly praise her service. She was great and the busboy was right there also. Our server Keith was a dream. The service was impeccable, friendly and fun. We ordered shrimp appetizer, steak and scallops and all were prepared to perfection. The band in the bar was lively and everyone was having a blast on a Tuesday night. Eddie V's Palm Desert does not disappoint.

We arrived a bit early for our reservation however they were able to seat us right away . The staff was prompt and very attentive. The food was outstanding, fresh and well presented. Our server was the best we have had at a restaurant in a long time and always had a smile. Made us feel very welcome . The manager even approached us to check on how we were doing ! This is a top-tier restaurant, and the food, service, and ambience will never disappoint. A standout on the food side was the table-side-prepared steak tartare. It was the best I've had. And the Parmesan-crusted sole was unbelievable. The service was superb, thanks to our delightful waiter, Eddie G. He was pleasant, very knowledgeable, attentive to our needs, and never pressured us. We will look for him next time we are in for dinner.

Moses was our server and the service was impeccable! The food quality wasn't the greatest. The rice on the tuna crispy rice appetizer was soggy. The rice in the crab fried rice was hard and chewy as if it weren't cooked enough and the sea bass was cold. Do better Eddie V's!

As your private note area below would not send forward I will leave it here. Please feel free to share it solely with Eddie V's management....Hello. We experienced our usual fine food/beverages and the table/server attention & care was spot on, yet the arrival and seating processes were, and continue to be consistently delayed during this, and on several/most prior reservations we make at your venue. The delays result a in congested and increasingly noise filled entry lobby, for example, on this afternoon (@ 4:40-5pm) about 3 parties were waiting outside the entrance in addition. 2-3 staff working @ the reception area were seemingly working hard to decide where folks should be seated. Worth mentioning that about 1/2 of the tables in the bar and main Dining Room were vacant, and 2/3 of those on both patios were unoccupied as well. After 20-25 minutes we inquired about our table while seated immediately inside the entrance and facing the reception desk. The staff responded that they had called our name yet we "never responded". My date likely overheard that another person stepped up and was seated when she "possibly" heard my name called yet we need not flip into detective mode here. FYI only. If the waits continue to be prolonged and congested enough to not hear names being called out from BEHIND the entry reception desk, perhaps you might consider providing the lighted vibrating modules that chain restaurants deploy. Minimally, how about offering water or even cocktails during this initial wait despite reservations? Thinking that we would have minimally been seated, ordered first round, and finishing our meal in time to turn the table over by 6-6:15. We were seated at 5:10+ for our 4:45 Open Table rez. While this is not my area of expertise, so many of the adjacent restaurants in the immediate area take 5-6 min max to WELCOME & decide where you will be escorted to enjoy your experience. Hoping that this is more helpful than critical but PLEASE work on this unp

Just tried the happy hour yesterday with four others. Sooooo sweet they seated us on the patio.. Drinks, filet sliders and lobster bites. Our waitress was WONDERFUL! This is now my favorite restaurant. We are returning Christmas Eve . Thank you

This place was amazing. The food was right on point. We ordered the filet mignon and Chilean Seabass with the crab fried rice and a lobster bisque. Everything was cooked to perfection and salted perfectly. I hate high end restaurants that don't salt their food and this place was delicious. I will definitely visit again when I'm up in Rancho Mirage. A must try for sure.

We went to Eddie V for a birthday dinner and had a great time. The menu has so many mouth watering dishes and we ended with with the ribeye, lobster tacos, Kung pao calamari and fried rice. The lobster tacos were outstanding and everything else was very good. Eddie our waiter was amazing. Also really liked the bananas foster dessert and pomegranate mule. Highly recommend this spot.
