Went by there today to have lunch & found out the place has a new owner and is no a taco shop. Sorry to see the old place close and a bit of a surprise. Chris, the original owner sold the place last winter. The new owner made a few changes, but kept the menu and the food was still very good. Was there about a month ago & had lunch so we were shocked to see a new name and new owners at the place. We did not stay. I was not in the mood for tacos so we went to another sandwich shop. Today is June 6, 2022. A very good Palm Desert sandwich shop has closed.

I came here at random for breakfast and I was not disappointed. The restaurant itself feels very "homey" vide to it which is nice. The food was very good but what really sold me on this place was how professional and polite the staff are. I will definitely be coming back to try the rest of the menu.

Was in Palm Desert to visit the zoo there and happened to stop by as the family was eating at the restaurant next door to El Paseo Grill. We stopped in initially wanting some fries and ended up trying the "Best Bacon Burger". Aptly named, that was a very good burger. The bacon made the burger. Crispy, buttery and absolutely delicious. Will definitely be a place to visit again on the next trip out there.

Very really good burgers and salads! A mom-and-pop restaurant w/ pop out front greeting all the diners while mom's busing some of the tables. A little hard to find the first time, but worth the effort. El Paseo Grill is a great little breakfast and lunch place.

I've visited El Paseo Grill a few times for breakfast or lunch. I have been very happy with the quality of my meals and the great staff. The sweet potato fries with mango chutney is a must.

I tried this place after searching for a good lunch place on Yelp. This place had several 5 star reviews so we gave it a try. We are so glad we did! Everyone loved their meal. People were super friendly and the food was excellent. I highly recommend d it!

Ok the dudes who work here are super cool but the paper thin burger and weird bun let me down. Multiple owner changes most likely contribute to the deteriorating food quality but save yourself the trouble and find a burger somewhere else. Also - I seriously question this is the "grass fed " beef they are touting Great staff though

Long weekend in Palm Springs and found this gem. Steak sandwich at lunch is amazing! The sauce is spicy, but so worth it! Came back for breakfast before leaving town and rhe cinnamon French toast and breakfast burrito were both excellent! Dont.miss this place that is hidden in a little strip mall.

Seriously the BEST, FRESHEST burgers and chicken you can get in town!! They even come on homemade buns, which are out of this world good!! I have tried many things on the menu, and there is nothing I haven't LOVED. Their jalapeno spuds are super good too! They always have some yummy dessert items, which make for a sweet ending to a delicious meal!!

For the prices they are charging now they should be a full dine in service experience (not just walk up to the counter and order your food.)The bussing situation is also confusing. I went to bus my own table (even though I didn't feel like it or wasnt sure if that was right to do) and kept dropping stuff (with my baby in my arms) and stacked it all up on the plate to throw it away, only to get to the trash can that said on a sign "leave your plates at the table" so I turned around and left (felt bad but I did.)I wasn't going to do double the work. The bathroom REALLY needed help. I think the employees share the public restroom which is fine, but the toilet paper was almost out and I searched for a new roll myself.. there's no purse hanger and the bathroom was pretty dirty so unfortunately I had to leave my purse on the floor (it fell when i tried to hang it from the metal thing that opens/closes the door by the cieling) and also let my baby walk around on the floor too. (I cleaned him up after.)The toilet itself was messy and I just felt really dirty in there.I was handed a menu upon arrival and did the math in my head after ordering a bunch of extras, only to have it be about $4 or $5 more after ordering. When I inquired about the breakdown he said they had just raised their prices that day. I still got all the food I wanted and gave a tip. The employees are friendly and engaged in conversation. I think I paid about $23 for a small portion of 2 scrambled eggs with bacon, avocado, mushrooms, potatoes, 2 small slices of fruit, and 2 pieces of bread. Again, the food was amazing and I've been going there for the food since maybe 2015. But for the prices I would hope the customer service and consistency would improve! I don't mind paying if the energy matches. It was a difficult eating experience for me and my baby between the bathroom, bussing, the menu changes after the fact, having to pull up my own high chair, etc. but at the end of the day my belly was happy. Just want to offer a fresh set of eyes because I respect this place and have been going here a while and would like to see some changes, even if only small ones, would make a difference!

Food was not hot. Hamburger tasted like a frozen patty from Costco. It was grilled, so that added some flavor. I do not understand why Some gave this five stars. It’s not good. We wasted $50 on lunch for two!

Great place for lunch. We stopped in for lunch while visiting the area. Everything was fresh and delicious. Excellent customer service! Had the Asian salads very tasty with the teriyaki chicken. Breads are made fresh daily.

food was incredible, staff was incredible, and the tattoos on the walls by Will are also incredible. Eat here and then book a tattoo at Adornment with Will Schallert :)

It was my first time at this restaurant. I ordered a breakfast burrito and a Belgian waffle to go. The chalkboard menu right above the counter clearly was written $11.95 and $12.95 for them. When I looked at the receipt, I was charged $13.95 each. I assumed they added $2.00 for the bacon in the breakfast burrito. Thinking they made a mistake, I mentioned about a dollar difference for the waffle. The guy at the counter said the price changed that morning. WHAT? He also said I am not the only one complaining. He pointed to an old gentleman as the owner. Even the owner had the same attitude saying "Everything is going up. Do you know how much gas costs?" He grudgingly told the guy at the counter to give the dollar back. When I came home and read their menu, the breakfast burrito includes bacon or sausage. So I still feel like I was cheated $2.00. Food was decent, so 2 stars. But business should be done honestly. You lost a customer and his friends and family forever for $3.00.
