An absolute hidden gem!
From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with the most friendly service from Marilyn!!!
She made us feel right at home and taken care of the entire time.
The food was incredible! The chips and salsa were fresh and flavorful.
I ordered Baja Street Tacos and they were absolutely delicious, with the chicken being my favorite.
My partner had the shredded chicken quesadilla and couldn’t stop raving about how good it was.
The flavors here are authentic, the ingredients are fresh, and you can truly taste the love and care in every dish.
The horchata was also perfection- smooth, sweet, and refreshing.
This spot is local, authentic, and a must-visit for anyone who loves Mexican food.
We left so happy and satisfied! Definitely one of the best finds around!

El Rodeo Cafe is a local gem. Authentic Mexican cuisine just blocks away from the tourist scene. Everything we ordered was fresh tasting and well seasoned. The chile verde that adorned by chile verde omelet was as good as it gets, the pork was tender and moist and the verde sauce was tangy without being overly spicy. My wife had her standard chilaquiles that came perfectly done with both red and green sauces and beans topped with queso fresca. My wife’s sister ordered a combination of chile relleno and crispy beef taco. She said that it reminded her of her childhood chile relleno in Upland which has always been her standard of quality. El Rodeo also has a full bar. We enjoyed every bite. We arrived at about 11:30 on a Sunday and were seated immediately, when we left the cafe tables were full, so try to get there early if you can.
First time pozole and milaneza cakes, not the best but quite acceptable, very good service, attentive x Valeria.

It was okay, but probably won't be back. It was a different take on carne asada than I've ever experienced. The atmosphere is 60's American diner.

Perfect joint to grab some drinks and great Mexican cuisine. They have a full bar and a nice big menu of food. We got the Chilaquilas Con Carne Asada with eggs over medium and red and green salsa. It had the perfect spice and was an extremely big portion. The carne was tender and not chewy. The eggs were also perfectly done. We also tried a veggie omlete that was also cooked to perfection. Fluffy egg, not dry and tasty fresh veggies with fresh slices of avocado. Served with rice and beans that are fresh and delicious. My buddy ordered two Michelada's with Modelo and loved them!! Our waitress was also SUPER friendly and took care of us. Will be back again soon.????
Vegetarian options: They have a veggie omlete.

I went to lunch here with some coworkers and we had a great meal! I got the chilaquiles con pollo with their green sauce. It was good and spicy. I will definitely be going back to try some of their other dishes!
