I walked in and placed a order for 2 item plate to go. Had standard items and no additional. The price on the menu was $14.95 BUT I was charged $19.52 and at first he handed me $.0.20 and I said it was $20 and he then opens the register and said oh I made a mistake and hands me $0.25 more. When I got my food I showed him the menu and said you state $14.95 for 2 items and I proceeded to the door. I told him he was a thief and he followed me out and said they have new pricing bur they should change there menus if that is the case. I don't believe it! I would never recommend this place as they are thieves!!!

Objective rating: Service was poor. Waiter acted like. he had ADHD. Would ask how we are doing as he was running past, only 3 tables had customers. When ordering our friend couldn't pronounce the food item and the waiter was not helpfull. On one occassion the waiter mumbled something and we discovered we had accedentally ordered guac. When she realized what she did tried to cancel but got a hard time from the waiter. In the end he did give us a discount. Had to be careful to speak in case you ordered. Google maps has a menu that is really old. Out dated pricing. Asked for separate bills, got one bill. We left unimpressed especially when we considered our subjective assesment of the food.

Flor de Jalisco in Palm Desert is THE Worst Mexican restaurant I have ever experienced.
We were a group of four - ordered Cadillac Margaritas and food.
The supposed “Cadillac” is anything but - no discernible tequila and certainly no Gran Mariner that makes is a Cadillac - flavored water at best. The Huarche ala Carte is supposed to include slices of cactus - there were none and when mentioned to our waitress, she apologized and shrugged it off. We had to ask to get tortillas that accompanied one of our dishes and they eventually arrived rolled and broken in tin foil. The beans looked like they’d been run through a blender and poured on the plate. The young man that seated us and seemed to be bussing tables was delightful and efficient, though finally leaving was the best part. Can’t imagine where the good reviews come from - this place was terrible.

Although the food was pretty good the service was sorely lacking. One and done.

The place was packed but I guess it makes sense bc the food was amazing and staff were top notch. The salsa was delicious, I already wanna go back just remembering it.

I love nachos ! Their steak nachos are the best ! The pieces are so generous and tender. Everything I’ve tried there has been really tasty fresh. The restaurant is very clean nicely decorated. The people are so nice everything fresh not canned you can tell. I have been to many Mexican Restaurants here and this is the BEST . I looked at their menu and they see open for breakfast! And they have a Kids meal . The prices are very reasonable, and they make yummy virgin pina colada. Try it you’ll like it

We have been here in the past, before the renovations, and had a better experience. We’re not sure if ownership has changed, but something clearly has. For a Friday, the restaurant was surprisingly empty with almost no customers.
The food quality and service were both poor. The restaurant had only about three tables, yet it took a long time for the waiter to come to our table. Every time we asked for something, it was forgotten, and when we reminded her, she seemed irritated.
The beans were spoiled and had a bad taste, so we returned them. Instead of handling it professionally, the waiter appeared upset, which made the experience uncomfortable. Overall, the service and food quality were unacceptable, and we will not be returning.

Everything I’ve had is delicious, and I’ve been coming here for years! Make sure to ask for the special extra hot sauce, it’s amazing! Ambiance is quaint little hole in the wall where you get amazing food and great service!

Honest opinion, the food was disgusting. It was also the first time eating here. Service was good though.

This place serves the very best food we've had in the CV. We go often, once a week isn't uncommon. Try carne asada tacos and you'll become a regular. Everything is tasty!
