Excellent Food, Beautiful Atmosphere!
Stopped in here for dinner. They have just the right amount of menu options for everyone. Their food tastes home cooked and of high quality. Very appealing to my taste buds! Chicken was tender and delicious, potatoes were creamy and the brussel sprouts were outstanding. Salmon was fresh tasting and the environment was very relaxing. Highly recommend!

French Rotisserie is one of our favorite restaurants in the valley. We are always warmly greeted, the food is delicious and the atmosphere makes you feel like you’re in Paris. In fact, we were in Paris last year and the food is better at FRC, especially the pate. We always love introducing friends to this special restaurant.

Hidden in a shopping center, the French Rotisserie Cafe is an absolute gem. The interior is casual but decidedly French, with great Mediterranean/World music. The wines by the glass are 100% French - gutsy - but a good, broad selection.

We went there for lunch. The Vichyssoise Soup was the best I've had, and my Moroccan Lamb Tangine entree was simply outstanding. The service is excellent, pleasant and professional, and the owners display a level of pride and commitment to their craft which is so rare in the mostly corporate restaurant world we live in.

There are several good French restaurants in the area, but this one is the best.

The service and attention to detail at this restaurant is phenomenal. The owner sat us immediately, even though the restaurant was quite busy. Our server was attentive and had our drinks full the whole time. The food was decedant, from appetizers to dinner to dessert. Everything was delicious. Worth the price and would return.

Classic French dishes, owner operated, excellent service. There were six of us and everyone enjoyed their dish selection.

The French Rotisserie Cafe’ is a delightful dining experience. Our group of ladies enjoyed the French ambiance and music. The lunch menu was outstanding with delicious choices of soups and sandwiches such as braised beef and rotisserie chicken salad. One lady celebrating her birthday was surprised with a lovely dessert. This place is truly a gem in the desert!

Excellent experience - came here for my birthday. The atmosphere and food were fantastic. Our waitress, the blond with glasses, was outstanding and extremely professional. Merci beaucoup, à la prochaine!

I was visiting and felt like French food for lunch today. We had already tried the other French restaurant in town and we were not impressed. This looked really good in the Google Maps description so I made a reservation. We arrived and were seated immediately by the owner. We decided to share a Build It Yourself menu. The name of the restaurant has Rotisserie in it and the menu only has one Rotisserie item so we got a half chicken with mashed potatoes and mushrooms with a green olive sauce. It also included a salad, we got the mixed greens with vinaigrette and I added anchovies and green beans. Everything was extraordinarily delicious and absolutely perfectly prepared. We finished with an Apple Tart. I thought maybe it was Tarte Tatin but it was an actual Apple Tart on puff pastry with perfectly cooked apples and perfectly cooked pastry. No doughy undercooked areas at all. The bill was fairly reasonable because we shared. When we left I swear that I was light headed. That only happens when my brain and taste buds are totally overwhelmed. There is no better recommendation than that. Service was excellent too. The owner and our server worked as a team. You must try this restaurant. You really owe it to yourself.

Paris in Palm Desert! This place is gem and the entire menu is fire! Amazing flavors and the best rotisserie chicken I’ve ever had. For starters the French Onion soup is just incredible with so much flavor and stretchy chewy cheese. Adding this to the rotation.

Shockingly good, for strip-mall dining. Service was a little rough the night we were there because they had some staffing issues, but it didn’t seem to matter at all (to us, anyway, but we’re nice people); they were open and honest about potential delays, etc, but didn’t seem to have any. The food was way, way better than expected from a French place with a view of a parking lot and a highway. The wine list is decent too.
