Amazing, authentic, delicious!! All the food we got was great! Service was also great! I couldn't decide between the chicken mole and the beef Beria and so to accommodate they gave me a side of the mole with my dish for free! I had the hibiscus drink as well which was delicious and we got also got the fried ice cream which tasted like dessert cereal tbh. I liked it and it was tasty, but I'd recommend just go with the flan.

Food was good! Esp loved the fresh tortilla to go with my tilapia. The chips seemed a little thick, but the salsa was delicious. Service was great, everyone working here was very friendly and helpful. Nice clean tables and they had music playing with sports on the TV for people to watch.

Wow, what a Palm desert surprise! Unbelievably delicious - really, I've enjoyed Mexican cuisine all over Mexico, Arizona & Texas, but never have I been stopped dead in my tracks by the owner Leo's family recipe's. I shouldn't post this cause now the secret will be out, but "what-da-hey". It's just downright fantastic. And reasonably priced too-boot! If you aren't bowled-over like me, then go back to Taco Bell.

What an outstanding surprise on the back side of a gas station. Service was impeccable and me feel like familia and wanting to come back. The aguachile with shrimp is a hidden gem of a yummo dish. I used the juice for a salad dressing. It is worth a stop just for the guacamole...its really freaking good guacamole. Wish I took pictures during my meal. Looking forward to my next adventure in Palm Desert and the Guadalajara cafe.

OMG the Salsas, one of my favorite things of traveling thru Mexico is that of how all the Salsas are different in chilies texture and flavors. This Cafe hits it out of the park in its flavors and freshness you can always tell how the rest of your meal will play out from the moment those chips come out. We dove in for the fresh Oysters and fresh they were, next was the Shrimp emapnadas and Skinny Margarita accompanied by Ceviche. The Albondiga soup and Birra tacos entertained the young ones at the table. What can I save this place will save you the ticket and travel across the border and all you'll need is the cost of an Uber after sampling their large collection of Tequilas.

I'm giving this place a solid 4 stars! I've been in and out of Palm Springs the last few weeks and a solid search turned up this spot. Hospitality was great- was sat quickly and delivered chips n salsa almost immediately. This is kind of the double edged sword of Mexican restaurants, eh? To eat your body weight in chips before the meal comes or pace yourself or ... abstain completely?? Impossible, the chips were amazing. Great seasoning and texture. Didn't feel cheap at all. Half my body weight in chips later, I was enjoying some chicken mole, which was delicious. I was getting a bit Chinese food, cornstarch, suspiciously sweet textures from the sauce but it was tasty- although a bit decadent. Restaurant was cute and clean. Big ol bar w a nice wall of possibilities. I heard the margaritas were delicious but I was on the clock. Would definitely return if in the area again- perhaps to try some of their tacos.

When she picked Mexican, a quick Yelp search found several, and Guadalajara was highly recommended, for good reason - great service and great food. Guadalajara is located at Deep Canyon Drive and Highway 111. The family - father chef, son Leo server and more daughter also working there... runs a wonderful restaurant. We enjoyed - home made chips and salsa - good! - chicken and steak fajitas, with rice and beans and corn tortillas While we've visited Palm Desert many times and only discovered Guadalajara on this visit we'll return! Thank you, Leo & family!
