When you walk in it similar to a faster food restaurant... but man do not let that fool you OR deter you. The food is awesome here. We ordered the wicked combo and lettuce wraps... every single thing was YUM, YUM, YUM! Everything! Also the pineapple ice tea was the best ice tea, I have ever had. Those ribs are huge by the way. We will be regulars at Hula's!

We have been going to local places to help support them and also to try out their food. I had the Loco Moco bowl and my wife the chicken lettuce wraps. Both were fantastic and the staff was amazing too. Looking forward to stopping by again.

What an amazing trip for my palate. I found this place on a search for BBQ and I was glad I did. I had the flying pig which was surprisingly delicious. Then had the special with wings, ribs and spam fried rice. It was all delicious and Luke was great to talk to and server. If I ever make it back I will definitely go again. I even told my coworkers it is a must to try food establishment.
Good food, very inattentive staff. You could sit there for an hour and they won't take your order or refill your water unless you ask them. Oh, and they forgot everyone's drinks, but we were so happy to get our food after an hour and a half that nobody said anything to the waiter. The food was good but it wasn't worth it. If you're too busy, hire people. The negative attitude of a business owner with too much business is absurd.

This is hawaiian food that serves the population of Palm Desert perfectly. The ambiance is homey and casual making you feel comforted as if you were with friends. The portion sizes were not hawaii huge, but perfectly enough for what is expected of our order. The shrimp was greaslesly fried and had the perfect texture of a light delicious crunch with garlic sprinkled over the top. The Maui Wowie wings were my favorite thing on the menu. I cannot tell you how delicious the glaze was and the crunch on the outside was amazing The ribs were fall off the bone tender and were plentiful in meat substance. I wish I had more sauce on the side for these though. the homemade coconut cake was light, airy, and delicious I can't wait to go back and eat more wings! Mahalo!

It was a slow day when I came so service was all about us. I loved that. Food was bursting with flavors, drinks were so tasty and food, I didn't order enough so we ordered a plate to go! No lie the ribs, we not slapping our mama's anymore, we straight acting a fool. Oh yeah, the wings I'm hooked, can't get the bone out my mouth. Fried rice and mac salad was on point. Dont cheat yourself getting regular rice, get the fried! I didnt care for the coleslaw. Everything was so good, I had a good time here. The cake was moist and light. Very good. Pricing is fair for the amount of food you receive. A small gem hidden in a shopping center, pop up and make this place pop off. You won't be disappointed.
