Coffee at McDonald's taste better at 1/8 of the price. Service was less than mediocre at best. Owner seemed snappy.

The scrambled eggs were suspiciously powdered tasting, not the taste or consistency of organic eggs. The watermelon in the side of fruit was mushy, not fresh. The service was ok. This is actually usual for this time of year so I forgive her, but the $15 price of the egg dish was unwarranted. She should lower her prices during the limited time she’s open in the summer to encourage her year ‘round customers to frequent her restaurant. The atmosphere was as usual, a quiet bistro feeling, good for conversations.

Great place to meet people and have a conversation. Quiet and lovely atmosphere inside, but you also can sit outside.

If you want a pastries can go wrong...made in-house.

This place is a gem in the dessert. The owner brings you a wonderful experience of coffee and delicious foods & treats. If you live in the area or if you are visiting this place is a must!!

Adorable European cafe run by a European. If you have been to Europe you will know what to expect. We recently went to Italy and it is very reminiscent of the small family cafes there. Mira serves custom coffee drinks that are always beautiful and delicious. Her food is consistent, generous portions, and so good! She even has a gluten free bread option. Her pastry display is beautiful. She typically has at least five desserts that do not contain gluten which I very much appreciate. She also takes custom orders. We did a large order of macarons for my son’s birthday party this year. I am so grateful for such a lovely cafe on El Paseo.In answer to the reviews concerning cash. She is a small business and the fees that come with credit card purchases take a toll on small businesses when they run them several times throughout the day for small orders. She does greatly appreciate cash for orders under $20, which is why she asks. Never hurts to ask. However she will always take cards and even tap pay.
Vegetarian options: Salads, soups, and sandwiches have vegetarian options and orders can be customized.

The owner of this restaurant just gave me the worst experience I have ever had in my life. She wouldn't even let us sit down. She asked if we were even going to order food because she wanted to keep the area open for other customers. We had literally just walked in! I honestly don't know if the problem was racism or what. We told her we were going to order something because why else would we be there but she proceeded to kick us out the door. I have never been so embarrassed and insulted in my life. I would never ever recommend anyone to go there.

awful experience walking into this place. We were racially profiled, told we weren’t welcomed and were asked to leave .A group of friends (4 of us total) googled a near by cafe and came across this place. based upon the photos we thought it would be a great place to check out (mind you we’re locals) . We were completely wrong and were in total shock. Seems like she owner only serves to certain clientele
Customer service is complete trash. We got kicked out after walking in for absolutely no reason. AFTER the employee insisted looking inside out bags. Never have I ever felt so disrespected as a customer. I would in no way ever suggest anyone ever go to this cesspool of an establishment. I hope to see this lot available soon
