I go there for lunch whenever I'm in Palm Desert. The soup and salad are the best!!They are very GF friendly, and our service was outstanding. The desserts are out of this world, even the GF deserts! I highly recommend a visit !

I visited for the first time and what a lovely place. The pastries are so beautiful and the spinach quiche was the best I have ever had. The crust was so buttery and light, excellent. Miria, the owner(not sure of spelling) could not have been nicer. She is very proud of her cafe and rightly so. I read some of the reviews that were poor, surprised me. I have nothing but good things. And she recommended the seasonal plum tart!!! Omg, amazing. I will be back soon and bring friends .

Experience the finest pastries and food in the area, and don't miss the incredible lemonade! A pecan square pastry is a must-have, and the friendly service makes this a truly inspiring destination to visit when in Palm Desert!

Cherry pastry was as sour as the owner. She was very rude to my friend. I’ll take my money elsewhere, from now on.

I always stop in here when I’m in the area. The owner is a lovely lady and the cafe is beautiful. It is not inexpensive - but it is also in Palm Desert on the main street, so what do you expect? The coffee and food is delicious.

Super cute European cafe! Food was yummy and they have so many delicious looking pastries. They do try and upsell you on getting more food and drinks though
Purchased 2 pastries type pies, pecan and raspberry. Both were very dry. The pecan slightly more edible than the raspberry, which tasted old and gummy. Sadly it went in the trash.

Shop was cute, but service is really bad. They didn't give us a menu. Matcha and iced latte was made so quickly, probably less than a minute. Quick service is normally positive but I also want my drink done right.. it was the worst matcha I've ever tried. Coffee was alright but not worth the price. I've had better coffee at Winchell's for half the price. Desserts looks good if they were fresh but we're out in the open for who knows how long.

The food is faux-European; the waiter was unfamiliar with the menu, and for a cafe, it is costly for the quality. Their prosciutto ham was terrible. My friend asked for a prosciutto sandwich, and the chef put it in the oven when it was meant to be served raw (crudo).

we liked everything
Wow never knew about this place on El paseo. Walked by and went in with my mom. We had homemade vegetable soup, salad, and a grilled cheese panini. Everything was fresh and delicious. We had a cherry pastry with homemade whipping cream. We left nothing behind and enjoyed the food, service, and atmosphere. Meet the owner, supper sweet, and attentive. I have eaten at least a hundred restaurants in the 38 years I have been coming to the desert and this is my new favorite place! Try it you won't be disappointed.
