Excellent and friendly service along with yummy food and there's a nice breakfast, brunch, or lunch afternoon out in their beautiful courtyard in the sunny desert with friends
I'll definitely be a returning customer!

Probably the best old-school Chicago-Style Diner in California. It's on El Paseo, but it really is a Family-Friendly, Family-Owned, sit-down lunch restaurant with an amazing bar. It has a bit of a Patio Vibe, a bit of Surfer Culture, and a full kitchen with some of the best Sandwiches and Salads you can eat. It's unique, special, and worth coming to! Very few restaurants like JC's!

Absolutely incredible food. It was so delicious. The service, the vibe very homely and everyone's smiling just made the entire experience wonderful. I thought the pricing for the most part was good as well! Our server Latin gal was super nice. Appologies I didn't get her name. Everyone there was happy which made the experience so good.

My only knock here is the food portions are absolutely small. I ordered the pastrami sandwich which was absolutely amazing however very small sandwich. I ordered it twice which I didn't care for but as mentioned everything else made up for this so 5s all around!

Very welcoming place! Great friendly service! Food was very good. I had the blue crab Benedict (delish!) And hubby had the pork tamale breakfast - also yummy. We shared a Belgium waffle topped with mixed berries. ? The mimosa was good too! Would definitely go back!

Place is too small. Waiter did not check if food was ok. When we asked for a straw they forgot about us and came back with it when drinks were almost done. Food is not great, not sure why this place has a high rating. Def not worth making the trip

The mood is as good as the food and the jokes are always fresh

Parking: Park between Hwy 111 and El Pasao. There is good shade up close and plenty of space

Wheelchair accessibility: When accessed from the primary parking lot there is ideal handicap access. When accessed from ElPasao one should use the sidewalk to the east to access the restaurant with ease.

Good food, portions a Lil small. A/C temperature was not cool enough for a 118° day. The cinnamon roll was delicious. The Staff was great!

Stopped in for breakfast last weekend. Cute little cafe. Most patrons look like regulars which is always a good sign. Service and food were definitely on point. Will definitely be back when in the area!
