I love John’s! I’ve been eating here since 1992. Everything they make is delicious. Did I mention that I love this place? Everything is yummy. I come here for breakfast and lunch and dinner. And often times we get takeout for dinner too! The food is delicious and the menu is extensive, including Greek food, pastrami, the French toast, the huevos rancheros, all the soups and salads, and don’t forget what they’re most known for, their most Excellent hamburgers. Super helpful and very friendly staff with a long tradition of serving our community. I can only say one thing about this place, go! Go! Go!!!

I remember my Dad taking me here since I was a kid over twenty years ago. A great spot for breakfast but I really prefer the lunch menu. I love the bacon cheeseburgers and fries. The food here is very solid, consistent. A place for all walks of life, from the working man to those old people that are obsessed with golf. A good local spot. I recommend.
1) chorizo breakfast burrito no pico , extra cheese , extra sour cream will put you to sleep 2) 2 blt sandwiches no tomato add avocado and light onions and light toast it 3) chicken Philly sandwich or Philly sandwich with fries add cheese and grilled onions on the fries fries These are my top 3 favorite dishes from John's I don't know why they're bad reviews on here some of them seem pretty oddly unreasonable or unrealistic. I go here 2/3 times a week there food is really cheap compared to other places in Palm desert especially highway 111 they have a wide variety of food and it's all delicious, definitely prefer going here spending my money than going to fast food place it all taste fresh

This place has gone down the crapper in the past few years I came here as a child and now as an adult bringing her children it’s thee worst food is subpar waitress was standing around gossiping instead of cleaning which the place NEEDS! it’s so dingy now there’s so many things to be done in a restaurant and everyone was just standing around doing nothing no one came around asking if we wanted more coffee or if things were ok this johns HAS NOTHING ON THE PALM SPRINGS ONE DO NOT COME HERE!

I was very disappointed in the Bacon Cheeseburger. I bought the combo and it cost me $18.00 with tip. When I received the burger it was maybe 1 inch thick. Maybe not even that. Anyway, the lady at the front was very pleasant and the lady that brought the food. I will never go back there.
