Take out was garbage.

First time I ordered waffles, I got french toast instead.

Tried them again: Ordered Belgian waffles, corn beef hash.
The waffles didn't get the toppings, and didn't get corn beef instead some other food

The staff at JT'S Diner is very welcoming and courteous, from the minute we walked in the door to helping us take pics outside with the skeleton bicyclists.
We went for breakfast. The menu has 3 pages of yummy breakfast choices. We loved the 50s vibe and background music. We definitely recommend dining at JT's. There's also tables on the patio to start enjoying the cooler weather or stools at the counter, and of course inside tables and booths.
I highly recommend the waffles, as well, they rival The Waffle House. They have a mini waffle that is perfect to add to a breakfast.

This is one of the friendliest and cleanest places to eat breakfast or lunch. Great menu selection for everyone. Love their counter eating. Food is always good and hot. Drinks are always full. Wait staff is nice and attentive. There may be a wait on the weekends, but it's worth the wait. Go and see for yourself.

We were visiting Palm Desert and JTs Diner was not far from our hotel. We came in on a weekday afternoon and can highly recommend this restaurant. Stepping inside is like walking into a 1950s Diner, and we loved the music playing - authentic songs from the 50s and 60s.

My wife and I were eager to share something - after reviewing the menu our friendly server took our orders: The Wedge (salad) and JT’s Smokin Sliders. After a few minutes the food arrived and it looked good (see photo).

The Wedge salad was nicely chopped up (a lot of times you get a true wedge of Iceberg Lettuce you have to cut up) with plenty of “goodies”; bacon, tomatoes, hard boiled egg and avocado pieces with blue cheese dressing. Delicious!

And JT’s Smokin Sliders consisted of 3 small sliders (beef burgers) with smoked mozzarella cheese, topped with crispy onion strips - served with a side of French fries. The burgers were as tasty as the salad.

This was our last day in Palm Desert otherwise we would have come back for another meal (they had a good looking breakfast menu as well).

Nice place but the extra fees for credit cards caught me by surprise. Every item was up charged like a gas station. I don’t carry much cash anymore so will have to keep that in mind when deciding on another visit.

Great food! I had the steak and eggs and it was mouthwatering. The only reason I didn't give it five stars, and this could have been partially our fault but still, we didn't realize they close at 2:00, but we arrived at 12:30 and we felt rushed by the waiters. A little after 1:00, shortly after we got our meals, they started to take the condiments off our table while we were still eating to fill them for the next shift, they asked if I was finished so they can take my plate, while I was still eating, they were a little too eager to give us our checks --- and came back two minutes later asking if they can run our credit cards. I looked around at other patrons and they were still happily and leisurely enjoying their full meals , but they didn't seem to be rushed as we were. I will definitely return, maybe a little earlier, to enjoy what I ate instead of forced to inhale it.

Got there about 1335 and they close at 1400! Great service. Great food. Cute atmosphere reminiscent of a 50's diner.
