My sister and ate lunch at Kitchen 86. I really like the vibe in this place and we were greeted by the GM who was super nice and welcomed us. My sister had been here before and as I was visiting from out of town this was my first visit. We both had iced tea (no alcohol this time around) to drink, shared the calamari and I had the Quinoa salad with chick while my sister had Hobb Salad. We both really enjoyed the calamari which was cooked perfectly and really yummy. I loved my Quinoa...
Good was good; nothing super special but the blackberry pizza was pleasantly good, but if you're craving pizza, it's more like a brunch plate or dessert plate. Services was appalling! We saw our server twice the entire time. It was nearly 45 minutes between taking our drink order and food order, not ok! And then we had to go track someone down for our check, the service was terrible.
Josh was a very good server... Did not make us feel rushed even though it was on the day of the parade. Cocktails were great. Menu options are really good... Food came out flavorful and in a pretty good pace considering they were busy.
