This place was five stars. I got the big dog shaking it. Wash did not disappoint and also Logan hooked it up for us. If you go get Logan to serve you he’s the man.

We wanted to try a Coachella Valley favorite- the date shake.
We came across Lappert’s and decided to give them a try.
The store has a fun vibe to it. The gentleman working was very friendly and helpful. It looks like they have a very broad and creative menu, and can make just about anything that one could imagine. My husband ordered the date shake and I opted for the small cup with 2 generous scoops.
The standard cookies and cream was probably the best version I have ever had. It appears as they make all of their ice cream themselves.
For my other scoop I tried the Navels and ganach. What I really liked was that it was an orange ice cream and not a sorbet.
It tasted like one of the boxed chocolate flavors.
I would say the real winner here was the date shake. It has a very unique flavor, but not too strong. They used date ice cream and vanilla ice cream.
I would definitely recommend Lappert’s!!

Found plastic in my ice cream. Saw bugs scurrying around inside. Everything was super dirty. Would not recommend coming here. Calling the health inspector on this place!

Very easy to find with ample parking.
Tried three flavours in the medium size.
Date, macadamia and Navels/ganache.
The only one that had strong, distinct flavour was the navels one. Yummy orange with ganache throughout. The other two flavours paled in comparison.
One thing I will comment on, though, is the server named Logan. I have some allergies where trace is okay, but not actual ingredient. He found the allergen book for me and was very kind about it. Sometimes, servers get annoyed for the extra work, but he was very helpful. He then offered to wash the scoops in the back room for me. Again, the extra mile was so appreciated.
In terms of ambience. As expected, a typical ice cream shop. Seemed clean.
