Mastro's is the desert's go to destination for dates, business dinners, special occasions or just a night when you want to treat yourself. Valet parking is fast and effortless, setting the tone for a seamless evening. Our server and the supporting team were, as always, impeccable and you truly won't want for a thing. The crab appetizer special was a standout, and Mastro's house salad never disappoints. The lobster tails were flavorful, though a touch heavy on the salt and spice this time. Don't miss the bone marrow butter on your steak or baked potato...it's nothing short of revelatory. Desserts are decadent, made even better with their real whipping cream, all while enjoying live entertainment that adds a touch of pizzazz to the evening. With a robust selection of wines and cocktails to elevate the experience, Mastro's consistently delivers.

We had a lovely time at your restaurant celebrating my parents' 52nd wedding anniversary last night. We all loved our dinners, and the live music was a lovely touch too. Our only complaint was the music was so loud that my 94 year old father couldn't participate in the conversation at our table once the music started at 6 pm. We had a 5 pm dinner reservation in an effort to avoid how loud we knew the restaurant would become as the evening went on, but once the music started, my dad sat there and didn't participate in the conversation because he simply couldn't hear. I asked our server if he could turn down the speaker volume in the dining room we were seated in, but I didn't realize the live music was in the next room on the other side of the bar. There has to be a solution to this. Music is supposed to be in the background as an accompaniment to the evening, not center stage. If we want center stage music, we'll go to a concert. When the music is so loud that we have to yell across the table to hear each other, or when people who rely on hearing aids can no longer participate in the discussion, they stop wanting to go out for dinner. It's a shame and I really hope you can solve this problem. You do not need loud microphones and amplifiers in a restaurant. Your musicians can be heard without all that and everyone will enjoy their dining experience and want to keep coming back. Thank you for letting me give you our feedback. Anything you can do to reduce the speaker volume would be greatly appreciated.

I was extremely disappointed with my visit to Mastro's Steakhouse in Palm Desert. My friend and I have dined at several Mastro's locations and have always had great experiences, which made this visit especially shocking. We were seated in the bar dining area and while the food itself was very good, the service was not. Our server was very rude and dismissive and and it took over 30 minutes just to place our drink order. Although it was a Saturday night and somewhat busy, the restaurant was not overwhelmed, and that does not explain the delay or the attitude. We were also the only non-white guests in the bar area, and based on how we were treated compared to others, it genuinely felt like we were being profiled. This experience was completely out of line with the level of service Mastro's is known for.

The steaks are out of this world! The ousters are not so much. The service made up for it!

Seafood was excellent Steaks below average we find this a lot we come to Matros. It's a shame. It would be great if someone reached out to us.

Food was decent for an upscale steakhouse. Thought the service was pretty subpar. Waiter was pretty absent for most of the dinner and restaurant was so noisy I could hardly hear or speak to the company I was with.

Delicious and hot food served by Rico. Steak was perfectly cooked and the timing of dinner was perfect. Five stars for Rico and his assistants. Excellent all around.

Service and food good, but will not go back, we used to always enjoys great cocktails and large pours of wine at mastros, any of them. After being disappointed the last 4-5 times, appears that mastros has gone different direction. They need to follow the steak 48 model, the old mastros is gone, too bad

Family of four order the chefs cut, ribeye which was bigger than the 22oz. It was really good and enough for my husband son and I. We didn't finish it. Order Mac n cheese for my daughter, she didn't like it taste like plain butter pasta. The sautéed corn, cream corn and garlic mash potatoes were a hit. The bacon asparagus is ehhh the bacon is smoked so the taste of Brussels sprouts were smoked. Not the worse problem, but didn't finish it. Service was great - she was pleasant!

As always, fabulous and fun dining experience at Mastro's. The martini's were awesome, steaks and sides were perfect. Live music in the bar area so it was a terrific vibe - super fun and festive.
