The restaurant is clean, comfortable, and inviting.
Our service was wonderful, and all of our food came out in a timely manner.
I ordered the steak and eggs with hash browns and sourdough toast.
My friend ordered the Lumber Jack breakfast with pancakes. They were some of the fluffiest pancakes we've ever seen. I didn't get a picture of them since they were brought out last.
Her homestyle potatoes and my hash browns were really good.
The bacon was cooked perfectly, and so were the eggs.
My only complaint is that my steak was well done and I ordered medium. My server offered to get me another one, but I didn't bother to send it back.
Over all is was an enjoyable breakfast at an affordable price.
With restaurants across the valley offering poor service and subpar food at outrageous prices, Mega Cafe is a wonderful find. I will definitely come back to try other offerings on the menu.

The Mega Cafe in Palm Desert is an ideal location to get off the Interstate / I-10 and have a nice meal in a Coffee Shop environment. Just off the freeway, with easy access.

A perfect road trip break or Pitstop for Travelers and locals alike. The Restaurant was clean, Bright, Bathrooms were clean, the Tables and Booths were spacious. Owners and Management are obviously proud patriotic Americans, as evidenced by the numerous USA flags in the decor in the Lobby.

Local Church groups, Seniors, Kiwanis, Rotary and Chamber of Commerce groups should take note of one of the unique features of this Venue is the Meeting Room and Conference Table.
Imagine a sit down Business meeting, or a standing Social Meeting. The US Flag is already in the meeting room, ready to go...

I placed an order To Go, or Take Away. It was served promptly, and all of the condiments in the Take Away Bag. Extra napkins, plastic cutlery, Salsa, Sour Cream.

Would re-order what I chose...Chicken Quesadilla & Onion rings.

Server Angelica was a smiley face at the Front Reception, and an efficient Server. She was welcoming when I walked in, and wished me well when I left. Angelica seemed to have the pride of Ownership and Management. A solid Employee!

I noticed as well they had Senior meals on the Menu.

The Mega Cafe is a solid Diner in a previous Coco's restaurant.
Parking is easy and plentiful. Disabled and wheelchair patrons should be easily able to manage the floor plan, and entrance.

I recommend the Mega Cafe, and will stop in again on my next road trip through the Palm Springs / Palm Desert/ Cathedral City / Indian Wells region.

Parking: Plenty of Parking in a Shopping Center.

Wheelchair accessibility: Easily Accessible - clean bathrooms.

I hadn't been here in years, when it use to be a Cocos. My last experience was not so great. But it was great to see that the new business has done great. The food was delicious, the staff was very friendly and the place was very clean. We have eaten here a couple times and plan to go again. :) I do hope to see maybe some decor changes since it still looks like Cocos, but it doesn't ruin the things I care about most which is good food and nice staff.

Always a welcoming and pleasant atmosphere. The music was a tad loud the last time so I missed the conversation but it was still wonderful. I love the country fried steak!

Wheelchair accessibility: I am in a wheelchair and getting me in the front door is a bit of a challenge. Would be nice if somebody manned the hostess station and helped. It’s a nice wide door so it really wasn’t a problem for my son.

Food was delicious. Love the fact they kept the same staff so it still has that home vibe. Love the music as well.

I ordered the lumberjack breakfast. Everything was cooked to order and fresh. I had a new server, who took excellent care of us,and our drinks and needs were met as needed. I have to mention the excellent pricing! What a great value and good homestyle cooking . I will be back as many menu items as my curiously is on the rise.

$20 for Chicken fried stake (the size of a thin smashed chicken sandwich patty), two sides - small coleslaw (1/3 of a cup) and a small hand full of fries and a soda for a togo order cost $20 bucks. The serving portions were pathetic. Fries were good and everything else tasted just okay. Waitress was nice. Cool looking spot but super empty. Presentation was bad as the container should have had separators. So small I had to go get something else to eat.
