Bland. Rosy T is a Great server but poor food and bland atmosphere. Bad music and TVs with sound on.

$20 for Chicken fried stake (the size of a thin smashed chicken sandwich patty), two sides - small coleslaw (1/3 of a cup) and a small hand full of fries and a soda for a togo order cost $20 bucks. The serving portions were pathetic. Fries were good and everything else tasted just okay. Waitress was nice. Cool looking spot but super empty. Presentation was bad as the container should have had separators. So small I had to go get something else to eat.

This place is exactly what it looks like. It's all simple, comfort food; nothing flashy or easy to mess up and it's all at a good price. It wasn't very busy when we were there on a Sunday morning and our service was consistent through the whole meal. Seems like the 55+ mega menu may be a bit of a misnomer because that's what I ordered off of (despite being in my early 30s). The Alfredo pasta + cup of soup is a good deal and the quality is what you'd expect for paying less than $20. The chicken and veggies tasted like they had been previously frozen and the beef soup tasted like it came right out of a Cambell's soup can, which is exactly what I expected and wasn't disappointed at all.

if you are looking for a friendly place to enjoy your meal, then we recommend Mega Cafe in Palm Desert. A great variety of meals at a very reasonable price, and we are enjoying our apple pie Alamo. They even have an assortment of deserts to go and offer a senior menu as well.

Had a decent lunch here with fair service. The food was served hot although light on seasonings- neither the potatoes or vegetables had anything for added flavor. It's clear upon entering the building that this used to be a Coco's Bakery (Shari's if you're from the PNW) and could really use a remodel. This is a prime location right off I-10 and could be something special for both travelers and locals.

Still great food even though it changed names from the corporate Coc$s. Ana is a wonderful server! Come try it out!
