It’s underrated. Why is this place not always packed?! If you’ve ever been to Javier’s in Newport, it competes. Margaritas are sooo good, not overly strong. Food is delicious. Also had a little drawing iPad for kids, and made my daughter a special pineapple juice with sugar on the rim to make her feel special with us. Much appreciated!
Charred esquites with chips and braised beef suadero enchiladas were amazing.
The huaraches was a bit doughier than I expected, but the flavor of the steak and greens on top really made up for it.
Update: I came back and the churros changed my life. Wow. I’ve never had a better dessert. Also the skirt steak and potato dish was insane. I love you mole Mexican kitchen.

Wow, uhm absolutely insane. The churro dessert might be the best dessert I've ever had. Imagine a hot doughnut, but actually somehow 5x better. It had a crunch but was so so soft. I actually can’t believe it. Im having a life crisis. Will be back - I have to.
