Oceana Restaurant

Restaurants don't get much better than this little gem in Rancho Mirage. There aren't many places out here that are so guest oriented as Oceana. They bend over backwards to make sure that you have the best experience possible. Mark, our waiter, as well as his support staff,
Benjamin and Augustine are the best of the best. When the bar was out of a particular tequila that I ordered, Alex, the bartender came to our table to introduce me to one of the best tequilas that I've ever had.You just dont get personal service like this anymore. Thank you for an incredible dining experience; you too, Alexis! We love you guys!

Had dinner with a small group and they put us in a separate room. Service and food were top notch! I had Seven Oceanas, packed with 7 types of seafood in an amazing broth. The fried red snapper looked great too. Highly recommend.

I came with my sisters before a concert nearby and I’m very pleased to say that I had a wonderful experience here. We called and they were able to accommodate a bigger party. The service was really great and the food was tasty-yummy. We had bit of everything. Definitely will come by again. Thank you to the staff for a great time.

The food was delicious but the service could have been better. The music playing was not enjoyable for us. It made us want to leave.

Spent a few days in Palm Desert helping the Cavemom with some stuff. We were both craving good seaborn grub. Decided to give Oceana Restaurant a go. It was a phenomenal choice! Cavemom wasn't starving, and decided that a Jumbo Shrimp Cocktail would do the trick. I was craving some jumbo seared scallops, and got excited when I saw they had those delectable crustaceans on the menu. Unfortunately my gastronomic glee was cut short when our server informed me they were sold out. My daughter often reminds me that things happen for a reason ... that was never more accurate here. I quickly switched my order to the Pulpo a la Gallega: Spicy octopus tentacle & jumbo shrimp served over pesto risotto with house veggies. This dish was definitely one of the best creations I've ever consumed! We had enough room for dessert and, at our server's suggestion, tried the Carlota, an Orange Coconut Torte with Dulce de Leche. I have to admit that I probably would not have ordered that on my own. But, DAYUM that was delicious. Highly recommend this place!

Lovely restaurant!! We came with a big group for a birthday dinner and the staff was very kind and accommodating. The restaurant has nice ambience and the food was delicious. I tried the garlic bread and drunken shrimp which were very flavorful. My partner got the surf and turf which was good but drunken shrimp was better. The drinks were yummy too. Our server, Gina, was the best! Would recommend!

The restaurant is a little on the fancy side.
The gentleman host was very hospitable yet the waitress ruined it.
While being seated the host suggested an asparagus soup and the spinach seafood dip and those two were simply delicious!
The waitress somehow insisted on the octopus and I informed her that this is my favorite plate if it’s prepared the right way.
The octopus was a little extra charred and salty with an extra salty sauce that made it inedible!
Thank goodness for the host who asked about my opinion and when he tried it he actually replaced it with a much better octopus which I took it with me at home.

What a wonderful dinner. The lobster guacamole is a must try. Dare you to eat all the chocolate cake. Had shrimp Romano for dinner and it was delicious.

Honestly drinks, service, food 10/10! every single thing we tried was phenomenal... lobster guacamole, caribian alhambres, oysters, ahi steak, and the coconut flan GOOD LORD! give this place a shot for very reasonably priced, fresh, delicious food!

Amazing seafood and cocktails - all bursting with flavors.

Parking: No issues with parking.
