Scheme as old as time. I fell for it. For a mere $5.99, I will spread the gospel for this chain.
The waitress was very enthusiastic to tell us the AYCE soup, salad and bread sticks. She kept recommending a dipping sauce. Without realizing there's a fine print, we've got charge for a small scope for $5.99. I could go without it.
Oh well, desperate times call for scheming. If 100 people falls for it, it's $599. Woohoo for them. I for one will spend my $5.99 elsewhere. A soup, burger or sandwich that's better than a small scope of dipping sauce.
Obviously, what's other scheme do they have in the sleeve that are as old as time? Pay and find out.

Olive Garden in Palm Desert is a big hit with the kids! There’s usually a wait, so it’s best to get there early. The hot bread they serve is a favorite, and the pasta portions are generous, so sharing might be a good idea if you’re not a big eater. The staff is generally friendly, and there’s plenty of parking.

The 3 cheese manicotti looked and tasted worse than a cheap frozen dinner. The commercials on TV made it look so scrumptious, but it was a flat and super salty fail. Not going to return to Olive Garden any time soon. Too bad, it used to have tasty food and nice portions. Service was sub par. An employee couldn't even hold the door open when we arrived and she looked right at us as the door slammed. I guess she was in a rush. A very diner-like environment at this restaurant. I would suggest sitting at the bar.
