Have been here a handful of times and love the consistency! Always very busy, even on a recent Monday when going with a large party. They didn't have a table inside large enough for us. So they set up s couple of heatlamps for us by our table outside. Great service that night and on every previous visit!I always loved their 50% off all bottles of wine on Tuesdays. Great restaurant in a great mall located in a beautiful area of Palm Desert. I highly recommend a visit when you are in this area!

Booked this restaurant for dinner on March 17th. It was meant to be a positive experience, having been in the past, we were excited to bring our guests. Here’s the results: oysters (East Coast) - horrible. Only ONE of the six fresh oysters were actually “fresh” and plumb. I’ve taken oyster shucking classes at the Oyster Boy in Toronto and u am fully aware of what a “fresh” oyster looks and tastes like and these were not. Fish and chips - batter on the fish was like the batter on a corn-dog - NOT the light, flaky batter of even the most basic fish and chips restaurant serves up anywhere near water. It may be just an opinion, but if a seafood restaurant is going to serve fish and chips - be able to make the batter. It was horrible. Thick. Soggy. Not appetizing at all. The scallops were greasy and for “sea scallops” they were quite small. If you are looking for a great seafood experience, this is not the place. I’ve had seafood of all manner in many, many cities and on a scale of 1 to 10 - this is a 2 at best.

We had a 5pm reservation for a party of 10. The service was slow, as our server had at least 6-7 tables she was responsible for handling. But we patiently waited for each course. When it was time for dessert, our server (Samantha) said, "we are approaching the 7pm hour and the next party has arrived. Does anyone want dessert"? We were dumbfounded by her rudeness, especially given the slow service. The manager (Greg) came over and said, "I believe you were told there is a 2-hour limit". We were never informed of any limit when we made the reservation. We ordered dessert and completed our meal, but we WILL NOT return! The food was average and the customer service failed to launch! There are excellent restaurants in the area where you can get superior food and comparable customer service (Jillian's and Lavender's are great examples). Spend your money where it will be appreciated!

Fish tacos were tasteless. Bland. Sauce was watery. Ran out of the taco. No onions or anything

Shared appetizers( chilled poached prawns & salads) were tasty. Our four dinner entrees, baked Sole fish, the Chef's special, and Braised Boneless Beef Short Ribs were all delicious and perfectly prepared along with Chardonnay Frank Family wine. Shanon our Server was outstanding... attentive and efficient.

Great food shared with great friends. A little on the noisy side and the service could've been just a wee bit more attentive. We asked for a few things like water with no ice and some more bread and had to do it a couple of times to get what we asked for. All in all we would definitely go back, if only for the scallop appetizer.

Patio seating with gorgeous views over El Paseo or inside seating available. Go early if you want a quiet dinner as the restaurant and bar area get very busy and loud around 7pm. Great happy hour options! The food is delicious, service is stellar. This is a great place to grab dinner for a date night or with a group of friends as they have a private room in the back.

Hostess was wonderful. Modifying our reservation time was also very easy, & we were seated exactly where we'd requested. Food was wonderful, especially the short ribs. Waiter was OK, but often hard to find.

From the time we stepped in the door until we finished our meal, the service, food and ambience were impeccable. Service staff were all friendly and professional. Food quality was amazing and served hot!

Had not been to Pacifica for quite awhile. Nice to find it reliably good as ever. It was noisy because the high winds had closed the patio leaving the dining room packed, but it made for difficult conversation. Oysters and calamari were very good. Spouse enjoyed the ahi, guest liked her sea bass. But a half portion of scallops brought only two rather small ones - not a good value choice at all, and "crème brûlée" was really just a ramekin of vanilla pudding with some not ripe berries. Nice wine list at reasonable prices. Service was quite rushed - our guest had to say not once but twice that she wasn't finished yet as staff kept trying to take her plate! This may have been due to the patio's being closed, but still...so all in all, a pleasant enough experience. Ample free parking adds to the draw.
