I moved here in 1988. Every time I moved, I always came back to this neighborhood. I had planned to live my final years here. It tears my soul to move from here. I loved living there. But I guess God has other plans for me. Goodbye, my dear friends and neighbors. Be kind and good to one another. God bless you all.

Beautiful country club nestled in the middle of palm desert with a super well-kept golf course

Great condition 4/31/24. Fairways are wide and greens roll very smooth. Great value compared to touristy attractions nearby.

Beautiful. With lots of swans and ducks. And migrating birds

Ok course. Not good value for what we paid. Sand traps were hard packed, greens were ok. Carts were in need of replacement, told we had to feather the gas for it to go

Our 60's rock band Woody & The Retros play at PDCC, and we love the vibe, people and patio. Come see us and dance to the Feel Good Sounds of the Swingin' 60's. 💃🕺For booking contact Woody Retro. Thanks to Robert Pescador for bringing us back each season. We truly appreciate the opportunity. We hope to see YOU on the dance floor!

One of our favorite venues to perform. The patio is ideal with plenty of seating, a huge dance floor and fire pits. This venue is open to the public. The guests are awesome, staff is helpful and friendly serving great food and drinks. We truly enjoy playing for this crowd. Many of our followers live in the area and come out to party with us. We’re truly grateful to play our Swingin’ 60’s live music for folks who appreciate and enjoy it. Thanks for making us a part of the Palm Desert Country Club family. SAINTSTEELWOOD is available for private parties too. Contact Woody Retro 760-891-6960. Thanks for helping us become the premier 60’s rock “live” band choice throughout the Coachella Valley. We hope to see you on the dance floor at our next show.

We were served early and treated very well. Robert and staff are fun and always make our time enjoyable.

Rough neighborhood and the course was rough with rickety golf carts past their shelf life. Very limited service, except for the guy who brings the cart to your car.

I thoroughly enjoyed the course. The greens were nice, fairways in great condition and everything played very well. The starter was one of the nicest men I've met here in La Quinta, and the gentleman who assisted me with my bag at the drop had a great demeanor too. Now on to why I gave this course one star. The blond woman in the pro shop... One of the worst attitudes I've encountered on a golf course in my life. I enter the pro shop at 2pm (sunset is around 4:45pm) and this was our exchange:Me: "Good afternoon, how are you?"Her: "What can I do for you?"Me: "Oh I'd like to just get out today."Her: "We don't have a 9 hole rate."Me: "That's no problem."Her: "It's not like you're going to finish."Me: "Well online you looked pretty wide open and I'm a fairly decent player. I'm sure I'll be fine, and if I don't finish that's no problem."Her: "But you're going to have people in front of you."Me: "Well I'm here so I might as well get out."Her: (sighs and charges my card) "Take this to your starter."I get to the starter who says "Oh you're going to fly today, there's not many people out here" and I proceed to number one.Now for one I've finished 18 as a solo in 2-3 hours many times, however if I want to pay to only play one hole and leave (especially while you're open) that is my business. Last, I did notice groups a few holes behind me when I made the turn. I wonder if she put up the same obstacles for them as she did me. I just wish she was there when I FINISHED every single hole. I even had time to track back 3 holes mid-round to pick up a 56 degree that I dropped. Overall, I good course - not overly challenging. Great staff minus this person.

The course was well maintained but I got totally ripped off at the restaurant! I ordered 2 burger patties and a side of bacon at the turn and got charged $26!!! I've played much more expensive courses and ordered the same things for less than $10. Of course, I had to rush back to hole #10 and didn't have time to dispute this, but it left a really bad taste in my mouth for my overall experience here. So, just play golf here but don't order anything off the menu from the restaurant. Lol
