Ruth Chris is always solid and their lobster Mac n cheese never fails. This is the first location I’ve been to where they didn’t give us a complimentary birthday dessert. The waitress wasn’t coming around frequently to fill our wine glasses or water glasses. We had to do it ourselves. The food is always great just wish the service was a bit more attentive.
Our waiter, Eric, was excellent!
Everything was Excellent from our server Kohl, the cocktails, appetizers and main course.
Always my go to when I need a great steak and want consistency. They will always treat you right on a anniversary, birthday, or just in the mood for some prime steak. They have very accommodating staff.
Great food and excellent costumer service
First time here. Staff was very nice and attentive. Food took a bit due it being Mother’s Day. It wasn’t a problem we were enjoying family time. Clean and very beautiful restaurant. The food was delish. We will be coming back.
When we lived in Palm Desert, we ate in Ruth's Chris fairly frequently and it was one of my favorite steakhouses. Once we moved to Palm Springs we went rarely but decided it was time to go back and chose it for Easter. It was quite disappointing. My petite filet, while cooked perfectly, was quite gamey for a filet and it was seasoned despite my asking for salt only. The mac and cheese side arrived at room temperature. My husband;s bone-in filet with blackened scallops was just okay. The best part of the meal was the special dessert - apple crumble - which was delicious. The service was not good. It took quite a long time to get our food and, although the manager stopped by our table, the server never did and we sat quite a while after finishing our meals for the plates to be removed and I had to ask for my beverage to be refilled. This was a very different experience from what we were used to at Ruth's Chris. Add to that the fact that the bill was over $200 with no appetizers and one dessert. I'd chalk it up to it being a holiday, but they were serving their regular menu and not very busy so no excuse. I doubt we will be going back anytime soon.
Caesar Salad Blah Ravioli appetizer was First Class Large Filet Very Good and Cooked to perfection! Desserts all terrific.
Really great birthday dinner!!! Food was amazing and the service was immaculate. Thank you so much.
Everything about the evening was 1st class. The waiter was excellent, we split many things on the menu and it wasn't a problem at all. I highly recommend this place.

I cannot imagine that there is a bad meal in the entire restaurant - everyone at our table was extremely pleased with their selections.
We come here every year to Palm Desert for our anniversary celebration and have never been disappointed! Awesome!
Yet again, Ruth Chris comes through with flying colors! I don't think we've ever had a bad experience at any Ruth Chris we've eaten at across the country. Our server, Melanie, was awesome; she was efficient, friendly, extremely helpful and on top of things! She even managed to have specialty drinks made for us that weren't necessarily on the menu. The food was wonderful as usual, the crabcakes to die for, the sea bass was delectable, even the warm bread was a hit! Yes, we had dessert, and the bread pudding was simply wonderful! Kudos all!
Salt, salt, salt. The ambience is “old white people” and the food is “expensive and salty” I had a house salad with ranch dressing and it was inedible because it was so salty. Every ounce of meat was also super salty. Won't be back.
We go for our anniversary and one of our birthdays every year. Steaks are excellent and seasoned well. Dinner for two with one drink was $250, including the tip.
