We went to Schnitzelhaus twice during our 2 weeks in Palm Desert and had a great meal both times. Their pork and veal schnitzel are both excellent, pounded very thing, and tender. The atmosphere is fun and we will definitely go back.
It's amazing inside and authentic in a hard to find way. Food is spot on, bier is kalt. A great stop on the way to the beach. The freeway access is key as well- although I live in AZ, I make sure everyone stops in and brings a couple of pretzels on their way back!
We were probably some of the last to visit this great little resturant before being closed do to the COVID-19 Virus . The Owner is very Welcoming, The food is so authentic you would think you were in Germany! My Wife had the Roladin whiich She very much enjoyed . I had the Hunter Schnitzel which was excellent . I ordered 3 sides that are only $4.00 each when haveing the Main , and they were excellent ,small house salad, Red cabbage, Dill cucumber salad very good.This is not a...
