This is the best spot for food in Palm Desert. We did the double pork chop and the blackened salmon. Both came with amazing mashed potatoes and green beans. Dessert was tiramisu and creme brûlée and were both top notch. Service was impeccable and our server was a joy. Love this place!
Service was not great and the food was average. I'm from San Diego, not a place that would survive in San Diego.
We are seniors so we enjoy sharing an entree , each having an appetizer and a cocktail . The server was very attentive and had our entree 'shared' for us and all was beautifully prepared and served .The appetizers and the entree were all very delicious !! We will be back to try the rest of the menu.
If you end up at the right table the view here is really beautiful. This goes along with the food and service, for us the combination was just right.
Kid-friendliness: Great for kids, in this case that included two 10 year old girls.

This restaurant does not honor reservations AT ALL! I will never, ever return.
We stopped at Solano's while we were en route, driving through, and what a delightful decision! Excellent service, lovely, peaceful atmosphere. We tried the crispy calamari... very generous portion, and I had the butternut squash ravioli, which was both delicate and satisfying. The envelopes were tender, and the squash was light and full of flavor. My wife had the sea bass, special for that evening, fresh, solid meat with a nice sauce.
Parking: Plenty of spots around the restaurant

Three of us went on a Monday night. We had reservations but the restaurant wasn't busy. It was happy hour, but their happy hour selections are very limited, for both drinks and food. I ordered the special, fresh haddock over broccoli and risotto. It was delicious, a good size, and VERY pricey; the most I've ever spent for such a dish but this is my first visit to Palm Springs. Our food service was slow, which we didn't mind, being ready for a leisurely dinner. However, the service seemed inconsistent. Another couple was already seated when we arrived and still there when we left, whereas two families of 4 or 5 arrived, ate, and left during the time we were there.

If I could put 0 I would. Terrible customer service, felt judged by everyone. Very inappropriate behavior towards my husband from the hostess. Im very disappointed in my experience and will never be returning to this disgusting place. The food doesn’t taste right, I think there’s rats here. Our server was so rude, she was too busy looking out the window at a disturbance outside than paying mind to me and my order. Very inappropriate, very disgusting, very unprofessional, I will NEVER be returning here.

Solano’s is a excellent restaurant bar and grill. I had the chicken and prawn Cesar salad which was delicious; however, the dates wrapped in bacon were top notch!!!

We finally got to try Solano's and it was very good. I wanted to try their Short Rib Tacos, but they weren't available on that day and had the Panko Fish Tacos which were just as good.

Second time to Solano's and it did not disappoint. Staff was friendly and attentive. While all of our meals were excellent, I want to give a shout out to the bruschetta appetizer. Outstanding - just the right mix of tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, basil and balsamic vinegar on crispy (not soggy!) toasted bread. We all enjoyed it immensely. Very reasonably priced as well.
Went there on Friday. Was very loud but we enjoyed the meal. I had Halibut with tomatoes on top. They're Halibut is usually very good, but the tomatoes really didn't go well with it. Usually has mango or blood orange sauce.
