The Hideout Kitchen + Bar is an absolute gem! From the moment we walked in, the service was impeccable—attentive, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. The food was nothing short of spectacular. Standouts included the Smash Burger with Truffle Fries, which were cooked to perfection. The atmosphere was cozy yet vibrant, making it the perfect spot for both date night and casual gatherings. What really stood out was how the staff went above and beyond to ensure a fantastic dining experience. Can't wait to come back! Highly recommend.

This is the place to be in the desert. What a great crowd of people in the bar and restaurant! The Happy Hour appetizers were amazing, especially the pizza! I loved my Watermelon Cocktail. Service was amazing. Loved Jake, our waiter. The staff and customers sang Happy Birthday to my 94 year old Father-in-law. It was awesome! Highly recommend!!

We discovered this restaurant on our last trip to Palm Desert. We really liked the food and the ambiance. We had a great bartender who waited on us for drinks and then dinner. WE will return.

This was truly an unexpected pleasure. Our meal was perfection, the ambience was lovely, the service by Enrique was far above most fine dining experiences and the added pleasure to met with an owner, Vic, who was charming and knowledgeable and most welcome to us out of towners. We will be coming back next month when we are in the desert. Thanks for the delicious memories Michael and Charlotte

The service and food were fantastic! The only thing that we would note was that one of us is totally deaf in one ear and the noise level (of people talking and such) made it difficult to hear at times. But given the layout of the restaurant we don't believe there would be much that could be done for that. But the food was so good and our server made it so enjoyable, that we would definitely come back again and refer others!

Had a great meal. Calamari is always cooked perfectly. Jacob was awesome and let us take as much time as we wanted between each course !

Great server in Jacob! Great food too. We took four ppl that had never gone and they really enjoyed it before. Towards the back of the place (low tables) was very loud and they accommodated us and moved us near the door to high top table and it was much quieter. Enjoy!

Took some friends for a birthday dinner. They had never been and they thoroughly enjoyed it. Our server, Jacob, was very attentive and an absolute delight. We had various dishes, poke, pizza, sliders and everything was terrific.

Very noisy at peak hours. Menu offerings for all needs. Food is fresh, tasty, and not overly salted.

The food was good, but the server messed up our order. Half our group finished eating before the other half got the correct order.

The staff was friendly and efficient, food was great and fairly priced. Atmosphere was clean and nicely laid out. Perfect for lunch or casual dinner.

I loved the architecture of the restaurant and ambiance. There was a large outside area with umbrellas. Inside the room was spacious with big windows showing beautiful trees and sky. We were there for restaurant week and ordered off that menu. We started with Grandma's meatballs with marinara and garlic bread. We asked Jacob D if we could have the sauce on the side. He was very accommodating and helped us with the menu. He was a very happy upbeat person. We were happy to find the sauce was more of a tomato one. The meatballs were a bit dry but the sauce helped. Then my husband had the wood fire roasted half chicken with rice and broccolini. The chicken was moist but the broccolini head seemed brittle in the mouth. I had the 7oz ribeye with mash and asparagus. All of it was tasty. I did find that the meat had a heavy crust around the outside. For dessert my husband had the cinnamon apple bread pudding. It didn't look that good but the taste was certainly there. I had the raspberry ice cream and it tasted just like biting into a raspberry. One problem seemed to be the slowness of some of the serving and clearing. Not sure but it might have been a problem with the kitchen. Also had a wait for the bill. However, the restaurant was not that busy. At one point I saw about four staff standing talking at the end of the bar.
