Absolutely marvelous! Perfect dining experience with exquisite food and very professional wait staff.

We had a great experience here! The server was really attentive, making sure we were comfortable and had what we needed on a rare rainy night in Palm Springs. The rest of the staff were equally kind, and I noticed they were especially careful to make sure guests with mobility issues stayed safe. The food was great and the prices were reasonable. If we lived there, we'd be regulars. We will definitely be back on future visits to Palm Springs!

We enjoyed our evening here. We had the grilled octopus, sea bass, fried chicken, & bread pudding. The octopus was excellent but we couldn't cut through the large pieces of chorizo with the butter knives provided. The fish was cooked to perfection but served over plain white rice & swimming in too much sauce. Given the price it seemed too simple. The fried chicken was good. The bread pudding was outstanding & the clear standout. Service was good, not great. A solid 4 stars.

We had 3 dinner while we were in Palm Springs area and Eight4Nine was the best dinner we had. We all had something different and we all agreed it was 10 of 10.

We got there right at 10am when they opened no one was there and not many people came while we were there but the good was great and the restaurant is so cute . Great service too. My husband had the French omelette added chicken and avocado and he said it was the best omelette he has had and he is picky . I had the Monty cristo so yummy it was sinful ! Would definitely recommend this place

Came for their Christmas menu & food was good but nothing to write home about. There was a disconnect in flavor between my Chilean seabass & the squash purée it was sitting on. The buche du Noel was average although I liked the chocolate icing that covered it . Service by Jose was great.

So I went off the reviews as the placed was reviewed well. We tried to get in at Thanksgiving but it was full-how-blows my mind!! It was disappointing to say the least!! We were in a room where there was no ambience at all. It was Christmas Day and I expected to at least see something festive on our table or a tree-but there was nothing in our dining room. Yes there is a beautiful tree in the large entrance dining area-but that was it! The service itself was good-the waiters were attentive-and cleared the dishes up quickly. They deserved a good tip! However the food was very disappointing. I had persimmon toast-couldn't eat it without breaking a tooth-the ‘ toast' was too hard to cut through and tough to eat. Husband had salad-ok-main course we both had the Sunday Roast Dinner-both love Yorkshire puddings-well they were cold. The waiter kindly replaced with a plate of soggy ones-everyone knows that Yorkshire puddings are crispy and not doughy!! So disappointing. We both left 75% of the meal. Very poor indeed. So 2 drinks and dinner cost $260 -wow-never again. We will be returning to Copleys .....

It was raining cats and dogs, church service was moved up two hours, but fortunately an earlier seating opened up. Everything was superb! The Christmas decor, the food, the service and especially the desserts! ☆☆☆☆☆

Once you have been here you will want to go back. A warm welcoming atmosphere. A professional and friendly staff. Too many fun and tasty items on the menu. Usually a solo diner, the bar is my frequent request. The bar staff is excellent making one feel welcome and at home. All good at conversation or not. It also proves to be a great resource to make a new friend over a drink or dinner. Perfect for casual dinning or a special occasion.

Christmas Eve: Considering how quiet and few customers were seated when we arrived we were surprised how slow the service was, it took 20 minutes for our order to be taken. My filet was way over cooked, but the server was no where to be found to complain. The duck entree was not warm upon arrival. It was a VERY disappointing, especially considering it was an early evening Christmas Eve reservation. We won't be back.

Great restaurant! The menu offers unique twists on classic choices, and the decor is fun and feels festive. Everything we had was delicious and like nothing else out there. Must try!!

Everything was great. Luis our server was attentive and always checking on us. The food was excellent especially the egg white frittata and the monte Cristo sandwich. Tom was also excellent in checking on us to be sure everything was Ok. Will be back again for the brunch on the weekends.

A delightful well illuminated mid-century modern ambience, a fine menu, excellent fresh Pacific Northwest oysters on the half-shell, great beef, seafood and vegetarian dishes were enjoyed by all. The expresso cake and s'mores deserts were fabulous. Highly recommended.
