The service was good. We all ordered salads and entrees. Pear salad was especially nice with a blue cheese 'surprise' nestled in the pear. The sea bass portion was generous. My biggest complaint is the noise level. We sat in the dining area, but at 7pm, I could barely hear my friends conversation. I found this unsettling, and not intimate or relaxing.

We had a cocktail party at 849 that was just perfect...the staff was splendid - Charlene and Sean especially and the food and bar was enjoyed by all...but, the following day 849 catered our wedding at our home...it was nothing short of spectacular...every item on the buffet was scrumptious and again the staff was amazing...they prepared everything in my garage and when they left it was spotless...Willie has mastered the art of catering and i thank him and his staff for a marvelous wedding celebration!!!!!

Have been dining here off and on since it opened years ago. Only once did I have poor service. I was there again a few days ago for an early dinner with my husband. Alexis was our server and I can’t say enough of the caring and gentlemanly he showed tables around us and to ourselves. For example, there was an elderly lady nearby he spotted who was having difficulty removing her coat while seated. He immediately went over and assisted her. Such a simple act of kindness and care. Great service overall!

The staff was professional and courteous, and Willy handled details with our wedding planner beforehand to make sure our big day went off without a hitch. These guys are are pricey (4 star) but after our cater flaked on us we needed a reliable provider quickly and they came to the rescue. Food was good and presentation.

We picked this spot for Christmas dinner based on their food, atmosphere, and previous trip advisor reviews and it did not disappoint. The prix fixe menu was delicious and we all left very satisfied. The corn and crab chowder and the pork tenderloin were both favorites of the family!

We had a wonderful Christmas Party for our staff and families. They accommodated all 65 of us and if it were to rain, they had room to fit us inside. We enjoyed the atmosphere, staff and food! Josh was amazing and omg we had our very own menu, which I think was such a nice custom touch. Truly a great place for any occasion. Thank you for the wonderful service and we are planning our next one in 2024.

We had 849 Events cater our annual holiday party last night. From our initial discussions with Willie Rhine to the perfect last night party we were blown away by he and his team's professionalism. The food, the bar and the service were excellent. The team of Julio, Javier, Juan and Rafa were exceptional and made our guests feel cared for throughout the evening. This morning we received multiple texts on how awesome the food, drinks and service were. We sincerely recommend 849 Events.

We had a reception for 45 people at a private property in Indio, and Eight4Nine catered our formal dinner. The day-of-event went perfectly, where the crew arrived on time, set up the tables efficiently and beautifully (even the owner personally came to oversee and help out), and delivered each course in a timely manner. The food was absolutely delicious and well executed (spiced tenderloin & sea bass, apricot chicken, and cauliflower steak), and multiple guests commented that it was the best meal they've had at a wedding. Planning was a breeze, too. They had a wide selection of delicious and well-portioned menu items, offered lots of flexibility for configurations with very competitive pricing, and we were even able to rent tables, chairs, and heat lamps for a much better price than event vendors. The owner was super easy to work with, even though I had to make several changes to the order. If we have to plan another event near PS, we would choose Eight4Nine again in a heartbeat. So look no further! We've also dined at the restaurant a couple times and had excellent service and food each time (including a very stiff signature cocktail), so highly recommend even if you are not planning an event!

Delicious brunch in such a fun atmosphere. If you haven’t tried Ina’s Scottish Breakfast on the brunch menu, what are you waiting for?! Service was great, staff amazing.
