My husband still talks of Drag Nite Bingo at this place: COWBELLS!!Where to start? How about with the 6'3" drag queen hostess/ bingo-trivia leader/ performer with the 8" tall purple hair-do? Enuf said. OK, add that she/he keeps everyone in line with a COWBELL and a friendly "YOOO- HOOOOO!!" every once in awhile. Friendly place, you will meet your neighbors in this bar, people are happy to start a conversation. TOO much in every way, and we LOVED IT!!
A great place with a unique ambiance to stop and have a few drinks with friends!The service was great and the drinks were made to order delicious!Prices are reasonable, too.You can order food (a limited menu in the bar) from Kings Highway restaurant, if you need a snack.Definitely one of the local bars to check off of your list when you are exploring Palm Springs!
We really enjoyed their breakfast. The chorizo grits were fantastic. Coarse grits cooked perfectly and the chorizo was very mild - a great combination. The avacado toast was delicious with mini orange tomatoes acting like little flavor bombs. The egg salad sandwich was outstanding because of the sourdough bread, crispy bacon, and a no-frills egg salad. Plus, their coffee was a real delight - very flavorful but no bitterness.
