Billy Reed's Palm Springs

The food was ok. I would go back. My niece ordered a Billy philly and was diappointed because it was basically a hamburger and she said it lacked flavor and was not the type of meat she was expecting.
The turkey burger was decent. The deserts were nice size and the prices were good for what yoy get

Like home atmosphere, comfortable, relaxing, casually elegant, great food, hidden gem with cherished history of some 45 plus years in PS. I went there in the 70s with my parents who lived in the area. It had just opened, and it’s the same experience now! A great escape from all the trends. LA Times recently awarded it one of the “11 extremely cool things to do in Palm Springs when it’s 111 degrees”.

Had a lovely dinner here last night. We came without a reservation but got seated quickly. The staff was helpful and answered our questions about the menu. I had grilled sea bass, and my partner tried the mushroom risotto — both were beautifully cooked and full of flavor. We also shared a bottle of wine that paired well with the food. The interior of the restaurant was clean and stylish but not too formal. We left full, happy, and relaxed. A wonderful evening overall.

The waiters piggy back each other so someone is always looking at your drink levels etc..
Food I always come out with another meal the helpings are generous.

Good food

The service was amazing!! Never a empty cup or glass and everything right on time. The food was great. My wife is picky, very picky about her food, especially her eggs. She orders them poached hard. Most of the time she will send them back, but not at Billy Reed's. It's not a short ride from Riverside, but we'll make the the ride again. I highly recommend Billy Reed's.

The food was excellent, service was great! We had dinner, but I would come back here for breakfast after seeing that menu. The antiques on the walls made for interesting decorations. A great place to go for that special night out.

A favorite eating establishment for us when visiting Palm Springs area. Fish and chips is always excellent. Prime rib and Ribs and Cobb Salad are also good. Boston Cream Pie is amazing! Always plenty of seating, good service and a giant parking lot. A must visit when in Palm Springs!

Great atmosphere with an old school vibe. Classic Palm Springs eatery. Unfortunately the food was very bland, no flavor. We had a chicken fried steak and the gravy had no flavor. My wife had the open face turkey sandwich, it also had no flavor and another dinner guest had the chicken pot pie with no distinct flavor. Took home the Boston Cream pie and it also lacked flavor.

Service here is unbelievably good. Decent veggie options and great coffee.

Everything was excellent except the waiter forgot our coffee and arrived at the same time as our breakfast , so there was no time to enjoy the coffee first.
Also, no flavored creamers, but the coffee was great without them.
The prices were good too.

Would definitely go back.

Maybe I ordered the wrong thing and I'll be the first to admit I'm picky, but my scrambled eggs were not cooked enough so they were gooey inside. Sent them back and they warmed them up, browned them on the ok outside and still gooey inside. Hash browns tasted of rancid grease. Billy Reeds has been in PS forever. Expected better. The waitress was a happy young woman that does a wonderful job, but yeah, they need a cook
