Mostly, we sit at the bar and enjoy their pizza, unless we're with a group of friends (which they'll happily accommodate). The food is great, the staff is lovely and the garden setting is a delight.
Vegetarian options: Lots of pasta and pizza options without meat!

We are staying in the hotel right next to Birba. We went for a walk at 8, it was full and they had no tables for 45 minutes so we kept walking. We came back around 930 and asked if we could have a seat for 4. They said the kitchen was closed but could order a drink at the bar and sit at the waiting area. There were at least 6 tables open. We politely asked if we could enjoy the drinks at one of the open tables and the lady at the host stand, white short hair, replied saying you can’t just have a cocktail at a table you have to order food. After that comment we said thank you and left. What kind of restaurant doesn’t let you sit down at a table when it closes in half an hour for a drink? 4 people could make a tab of drinks at least reach $50. The reasoning doesn’t make sense to me i won’t go back.

Everything we tried was wonderful! We loved the tortelloni, Birba pizza, and roast cauliflower. The waitress was very nice and super attentive. Even though it was 105° out, under the misters and in the shade of the palo verde trees it was wonderful!
It was fine. Took a while to get our wine but waitress was very nice. The fig and arugula salad was overly salty. The meatballs were good but nothing special. The tagliatelle was nice and light which was enjoyable but a bit lacking in flavor and the Birba pizza was again good but not great.
Everything was delicious, especially the pomodoro! Five of us shared the squash blossoms, meatballs, spaghetti pomodoro, rigatoni with sausage ragu, and two pizzas. Lovely ambience and service. Highly recommend!
The staff is friendly and the food is excellent! The tricolore salad is excellent, along with the Nonna's meatballs. Had the chicken as the main course and it was excellent as well. Will be back for sure.
Pizzas were GREAT, got a birba and a margherita, super flavorful and high quality ingredients. Lovely service. Really enjoyed dining in their beautiful patio, very cozy. Highly recommended

The tastes and portions were entirely too small for the food's absurd price. We both got pasta and their flavors were bland and forgettable. The server was very nice. The space is outdoors but closed in by trees and bushes with zero breeze, mist, or fans. We were dripping with sweat having dinner. Wouldn't go back.

Birba is our favorite restaurant in Palm Spring. The food is excellent. Simple Italian classics as if you were in Italy, great cocktails in a unique hip outside patio. This time the service was not great. Typically service is very good. Could have been the server or maybe limited staff.
We love Birba. Great staff, great service. Had the Milan cocktail. Delicious. The guys behind the bar are talented and know how to make a great drink. Tricolori salad is perfectly dressed. Decided to just have pizzas this time. Overall great.
The food was excellent! A lot of your favorite dishes but all with a delicious twist! Our server was incredibly knowledgeable about every item on the menu and helped tote us the right direction and trying to make a decision. Also a very interesting cocktail menu!
We were thrilled to host our rehearsal dinner at Birba's private patio. As one of our favorite Palm Springs restaurants, we knew it would be a perfect setting for an intimate and memorable evening with our loved ones.
The private patio provided a secluded and inviting atmosphere, ideal for dining and conversing with our guests. The Birba team's communication was responsive, professional, and organized throughout the planning process, ensuring a smooth and stress-free experience.
Even with the soaring temperatures, the Birba team went above and beyond to create a comfortable and enjoyable atmosphere for our guests. The misters provided much-needed relief, and the staff was attentive to everyone's needs.
The attention to detail from the Birba team was exceptional. We provided them with our vision for the table decor, and they not only brought it to life but exceeded our expectations. We are so grateful to Clare, Antoine, and Felix for their partnership in making our rehearsal dinner such a special event.
And last but not least, the food was absolutely outstanding. The presentation was beautiful, and the dishes were fresh and delicious. Our guests especially raved about the rigatoni and the various pizzas.

The atmosphere is beautiful, the food was good to extremely Bland. Although the servers were nice, they were very scattered about who got what and if you asked for something not in the meal or to be included they seem to have forgotten. It was one of those feelings that you felt they were done wanted to go home and weren't really listening. Not a place we would go back to.
