I miss this spot and hope that it truly is opening on September 30th as currently stated on their yelp page. It's one of my favorite spots in Palm Springs to bring visitors to because not only do they serve a good breakfast but the view from their patio is epic and made even better with bottomless mimosas. I love sitting on the patio and just staring into the beautiful mountains. I've had all three of their skillets but my favorite is the Country Skillet. Have enjoyed a few of their omelettes. And really enjoy their simple and tasty Caesar Salad. I really appreciated Broken Yolk when I was on keto because I could affordable order, ala cart, eggs, bacon and avocado affordably while going somewhere where people without dietary restrictions can order easily as well. Great staff, awesome location, and good food.... please open soon!

My cuzzo recommended this spot. Looking at the dishes, this looked like a good spot. Here was our experience on a Saturday morning. Parking: Street parking or plaza parking. You choose. Seating: A little bit of inside seating, a little bit of outside seating. Room for about 80 people, good for large groups. Feels: It's on the strip of old town Palm Springs so it's quite the popping place. The place itself is lively and vibrant, this spot is no hidden gem. You have your random lively art and tvs around to watch sports if you're into that stuff. Great place if you got the morning munchies, indulge, and all that jazz. FOOD: Sope Benedict & Chicken Waffles Benedict I did the choose two special. The sope was a unique type of benedict but lacks that rich street cooked flavor. The chicken and waffles were pleasant, nothing too special just a standard name for a good choice. Mimosas Flights You have a choice about sixteen flavors - I had the pomegranate, lemonade, pineapple, and kiwi all delicious and sweet. The bottomless might be the wiser choice if you're going all out however if you want a moderate little of everything, this is yours. CUSTOMER SERVICE: It was good. They told me 20 minute prep but it was actually prepared sooner which was pretty cool. TL; DR OVERALL: 4 Stars. Reasonable price, great choices, and delicious food. I don't mind coming back here again. This seems like the popping breakfast tourist spot. Great, great, great selections however I feel like I should have stuck more towards the pancake/waffle side, as it stands out more. Tips: * Not the OG location but still a unique chain.

Staff was extremely rude and unprofessional. He appeared to be "stressed" and "overwhelmed" but that did NOT give him the right treat me like he did. Sunday, March 29th.

Nice location with decent breakfast food. Only knocking a star off as it was a while before anyone came to take our order and the coffee cups had lipstick on. But they quickly changed them when we pointed it out. The mimosa flight was delicious though and worth trying.

Had a great brunch with friends. Junior was great at attending our table. Food was good, my friends loved their bottomless memosas. Environment was nice

What a disappointment. The restaurant was not busy and the service was very slow. This chain is in Vancouver, BC where the food is superb. Here, I had Mom's omelet with home fries that was so under seasoned and the fries were rubbery. Another example where the pictures on the menu set up expectations. Hope you have a better experience. Warning: the place automatically charges 18% gratuity on tables of all sizes. We didn’t notice it at first, but we ended up accidentally tipping double as a result, which was kind of ridiculous given the quality of service we had received. Despite it not being very busy, it was difficult to track anyone down to ask for a refill on coffee. When they finally did get to it, the coffee that they served was cold. In terms of the quality of food, it was kind of obvious that the biscuits and gravy that I had ordered were sitting out for some time before they brought it out to me.

Were looking for a delicious breakfast that was served all day and we stumbled upon Broken Yoke Cafe. It's a large 2 story restaurant with open air feel and patio seating on both levels which I loved. Will take any excuse to soak up the sun (I'm from Seattle). The restaurant was very clean, staff was warm and engaging. The menu was vast with options for everyone. I went with the Nutella crepes with strawberries & banana and my son had the breakfast tacos. We both really enjoyed our meals and would happily go back. Looked like they had a great lunch menu as well. Fun place with good food, can't complain.

Came here with my sister two days in a row. Not only was the service excellent both times but the food was delicious. My favorite is the crunchy French toast. Can't wait to come back to the broken yolk.

Great breakfast, atmosphere and decor. Restaurant itself was clean and airy. Service was a bit slow, however it is snow bird season and the entire restaurant was packed. The staff was nice and pretty well attentive. Coffee was serviced regularly and they have flavored creamer so that was good. Broken Yolk hasn't let me down yet.... wish I would have gotten a $5 mimosa or house bloody mary, maybe next time.
