Hands the best coffee shop in PS. The pastachio milk and matcha is next level. The staff are so kind and welcoming. Commpanied by a vibrant social community collective patio and ViGO sauna plunge club 🙌🏼

After several visits to La Jefa, I can confidently say the food and drinks - especially the coffee and matcha - are consistently excellent! The space is beautifully designed, spotless, and has an incredible atmosphere. Better yet, the staff is friendly every single time I go. It’s a truly special spot! Highly recommend!

I’ve been here a handful of times now. I’ve had the breakfast burrito and chilaquiles and a few different lattes. Everything has been great. From the Presentation to quality of ingredients. I love this place. There’s plenty of seating indoor and outdoor. Staff in the mornings have been really nice and work in a timely manner.

Café La Jefa became our daily coffee stop — we went every single day. The coffee is great, the waffle is amazing, and the scrambled egg and avocado sandwich on a bun was absolutely delicious.

The view of the mountains is just stunning and makes the whole experience even better. It’s such a cool place with great vibes, and the staff is always friendly and welcoming.

Another fun bonus is the little shops around the café — including an adorable dachshund-themed shop with T-shirts and more.

Perfect spot for great coffee, good food, beautiful views, and a relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Superb, coffee, and perfectly cooked vegetarian omelette. Nice outdoor seating too. One of the best places in Palm Springs for breakfast.

Best matcha. Amazing gf breakfast sandwich. If you’re in Palm Springs you have to come here. It’s a must!

They had the most awful loud music playing outside. I still can’t hear myself think. Definitely not the place for post hangover breakfast. Save for the club vibes for Arena street. Food and coffee was great though.

We had a great time at Café La Jefa! We had a big group of 20 on one order and the staff totally killed it. A special thanks to Janna, Manny, Angie, Javier, and Centuri! Don’t skip out on the breakfast burrito!

Cute and modern little spot in Ps. It’s more of a Coffee shop with food than an actual restaurant. But don’t let this fool you. Food is great..

While visiting Palm Springs, my wife suggested we try La Jefa Café after seeing it pop up on social media. With all the buzz, we figured it was worth checking out.

When we arrived, the café was pretty busy and we ended up waiting about 20 minutes in line just to place our order. We ordered a cardamom matcha latte and a butterscotch matcha latte. One small but notable pet peeve for me: even after clearly spelling out my name, it was still written incorrectly on the cup—not a dealbreaker, but a bit frustrating.

As for the drinks, they were okay, but nothing memorable. The matcha didn’t stand out compared to other cafés we’ve tried and felt more average than expected given the hype. The presentation was nice, but flavor-wise, it didn’t quite deliver.

The café itself has a cute aesthetic, fancy cups, and a small but pleasant seating area—definitely Instagram-friendly. Prices were on the higher side, but that’s fairly expected for Palm Springs, so no surprises there.

Overall: Not a bad experience, but also not one I’d go out of my way to repeat. Worth trying once if you’re nearby and curious, but don’t expect anything mind-blowing.

📍 Pro tip: Come for the vibe, not necessarily the matcha.

The Cafe was beautiful and had a really good time. The line was long. But moved quickly enough considering the size and the amount of workers. I had the acai and it was delicious and the cold foam matcha 10/10 would recommend.
