Found out about this restaurant cause it’s listed on the Michelin Guide.

We had a group of 6 on a Saturday morning around 9:30, it was packed! There was a 30 minute wait so we just went shopping while we waited to get a text that our table was ready. They don’t take reservations.

We got seated on the patio. There were a few flies which kind of got annoying as we’re sitting there talking, having to swat them away. I wish they had fly fans to deflect flies away from food. The food though, delicious!! The whole group enjoyed their food. Half of us got the sourdough french toast, the other half got the fall hash. I got the hash and it did not disappoint!

Armando provided amazing service! Overall, we enjoyed our time here.

To be fair, we came after pride weekend - but the restaurant was out of SO MUCH of their menu and we were only told of each item as we tried to order it vs at once when seated. What we did finally order was extremely mediocre and not worthy of the positive reviews we’ve seen.

Additionally (though I’m also sure the staff was exhausted from a busy weekend), we were rarely waited on and when we were, it felt like we were burdens, not customers (who had to order around nearly half the missing menu).

Very off putting experience. I don’t think we will be back.

Everything was great. My coffee was delicious. We sat out on the patio which was lovely. As we where are escorted to our table I noticed everyone's meals looked beautiful!! I will definitely return.

Food isn’t that flavorful, coffee is good but watered down, nothing memorable. Service is good and fast, and the outdoor seating is nice.

Ordered the Huevos Rancheros with the eggs cooked medium over and they stuffed up the order and made them severely runny and under cooked. Asked them to fix it and they brought a plate back freshly made but with the eggs STILL UNDERCOOKED AND RUNNY! Amazing servers but I think the kitchen was either ignoring the request or just didn’t care. The drinks were good and great staff service, but the kitchen on the other hand…

Great breakfast spot in Palm Springs. The bacon flight was so good. Chicken and Waffles were great.

I just left Cheekys after not being able to eat my meal. It was the worst tasting cubano sandwich I have ever had. It was the first time I have eaten there and it will certainly be my last.

Ok but there are better breakfast spots in PS in our opinion…nothing was bad although the bacon flight was underwhelming…

Bacon is great
Service was good but wonky, had to ask for things a few times. Cute place, friendly staff and patrons.

One of the better breakfast places in PSP. Bacon and cheesy eggs is awesome! The waffle was kinda small and spongy thou, not “crispy” as advertised. Coffee was top shelf! My friends quesadilla was also very good. We went off season so the wait was minimal, but high season expect to wait a while during prime time and this place is worth it.

UPDATE: 10/25 Been to Cheeky's several times now over the past couple years. Service is always great, but this past week I had my first dish there I just can't recommend. The chicken and waffle was very disappointing. The waffle was rather small and thin, reminded me of an eggo waffle. The fried breast of chicken was tough and dry, like it was a day old or something. It was bad in every way. Stick with the custard eggs and other choices.

I guess this place is hit or miss based on other reviews. Came in for breakfast and sat outside. I originally thought the hostess waved us over to a 4 top but she promptly moved us to a 2 top table (fine since we’re a party of 2), but she made a point to state 2 people couldn’t sit at a 4 top. Moments later a single person was seated at a 4 top 🤷🏼‍♀️

I got the tomato frittata and it was definitely more of a scramble than frittata. Eggs were well done, the tomato was not cooked into the “frittata”…there were just chunks of tomato on top, cheese was not melted. I also got the hashbrowns and they did not taste fresh, definitely frozen.

My husband got the juice (overpriced and small IMO) and the quesadilla. He said the quesadilla was good.

I did let our server know that the frittata did not meet my expectations (I also only had a bite or 2). She was very apologetic and did remove it from our check and offered to bring me a cinnamon roll.

The place is cute, but you can’t eat that.

We ended up going to Palm Greens Cafe and had a much better experience there.

The food was excellent. We waited a while to finally be seated. My hostess acted like she had better things to do. The waitress greeted us soon after we sat down and offered us water, which she never brought; we never saw her again until it was time to leave, when she brought the check. In the meantime, I had to stop somebody to finally get us some water. And then I had to get a waiter to wait on us, even though we weren't at his table. He was very nice, and I said the food was excellent.

My favorite restaurant in Palm Springs! We went with a big group and the service was excellent. Fast, friendly and super attentive.
The food was amazing, I honestly can't wait to go back to try more dishes. We had a few people with gluten allergies and our server was quick to accommodate everyone. The cocktails were by far the best we had all weekend. Overall, such a great experience from start to finish!
