We make it a point to come here every time we visit. The stuffed squash blossoms and the short rib empanadas are a must. Cocktails are refreshing and delicious. The service is always friendly. Just be aware, seating is outside. And although they have heaters and blankets, I've been glad I brought a jacket or sweater on cool desert nights.
Went here on a reccomendation, it is upscale Mexican food. Absolutely delicious! We had deep fried squash blossoms, to die for! Shrimp enchiladas, cooked perfectly. OSSBUCCO, also delicious. Shared the Margarita flight, well worth it! Each one was yummy and prepared with care. Service was excellent! Highly recommend! Reservations a must!
Very helpful server. Delicious food. Beautiful decor, comfortable table & chairs on the patio outside of the bar. Excellent dinner experience. Would come again & would recommend.
Great selection of wonderful Mexican cuisine. The restaurant never disappoints and all dishes are lovely
Great experience at Clandestino, Off the busy street, great patio, and cute funky bar. Actually the best mexican food I've had. Beautiful view and great service. Try the fried bean chips with chipotle salsa. Salmon was excellent too. Definitely will make a return visit.
This patio style eatery is hidden caddy corner behind Tommy Bahama..but a much better suggestion for dinner. Highly recommend reservations. Well worth it!
The food is very good, the people who work there are very kind, clean.
Service was excellent and the was absolutely delicious
My colleagues and I came here for a celebration dinner while on vacation and we cannot give high enough complaints. Our server Cris was so incredibly personable and helpful and the food was out of the world. The only complaint I have is that Clandestino isn't closer to home.
Clandestino is an absolute must when you’re in Palm Springs. The carnitas street tacos were outstanding and were wonderfully seasoned, tender, and packed with flavor. The chicken enchiladas were just as impressive: comforting, rich, and clearly made with care.
What really elevated the experience, though, was the bar staff. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. They made the day feel effortless and fun. Great food, great drinks, and top-notch service. We’ll definitely be back.

Wow, we had an absolutely incredible lunch at Clandestino today! I started with the jicama and papaya salad, crisp and refreshing, then followed it with the Cochinita Pibil, pure elegance; the pork was so rich it practically melted in my mouth. My husband’s Enmoladas (in the picture) were the real showstopper; he declared them the most flavorful lunch he’s had all year! Every bite felt like a treat, and it was worth every penny. We’re already planning our next visit!
We ordered food for delivery twice. The first order included chicken enchiladas and pozole. Both were flavorful and good. The second order included chicken fajitas and carnitas tacos. This order greatly disappointed. The chicken was overcooked and fajitas mostly consisted of onions. The three corn tortillas were broken up in the foil, dry. The carnitas tacos were too greasy. We threw one out. Food arrived lukewarm both times. The restaurant uses plastic containers which don't hold heat - try foil bottoms and plastic lids. The delivery on the second order was sketchy with multiple drivers assigned to the order. It's like the first driver - Brian F. - called a buddy to complete his delivery and handed off our food somewhere along the route. Better to go to Clandestino in person where they can correct a problem with the food.
A wonderful place to sit outside, share the amazing food while having a view of the mountains
Amazing food and atmosphere. Plenty of vegetarian and even vegan options. Highly recommended. Reservations recommended
Clandestino delivers consistently superb Mexican cuisine every bite and sip feels thoughtfully crafted. If you’re in Palm Springs craving top-tier Mexican, this is a must-visit. The nachos, carne asada plate, and arco iris salad are standout favorites, and the drinks are the best I’ve had out here in the Desert. We love Mezcal and they have a great variety.
