If you have the chance to go don't delay. Topnotch service with food and drinks to match. Wonderful spot.

Really good food. Main complaint was service. Had difficulty getting water refilled and we waited 20 minutes for dessert ...finally the server brought the check. We had to explain to her that we hadn't gotten the dessert yet and she seemed flustered and said she would check with the kitchen. We waited another 10 minutes still nothing, so finally went in search of the server and asked for the check. Both the check-in dessert arrived five minutes later. They did comp the dessert.

This is a hidden gem. Very moody with dim lighting, and Spanish colonial meets contemporary design. The tapas are very good, with the meatballs and steak skewers being our favorite....AND the best cosmopolitans I've ever had. Inside seating maximum per table is 4. It's a great place to take friends who are a bit adventurous in their dining choices. Give it a try.

Love the old-world, late night Palm Springs vibe! Food is great, service—top-notch. Was there on a Monday night—lively!

I've been twice before with great experiences. This time was much different. There was no host to greet us or say goodbye yet there is a stand. The front desk agent had to show us to our table. Drinks took 20 minutes to receive. We ordered 4 small plates and the first three came out at a slower than normal pace yet was acceptable. But our steak plate took 1hr 20min to receive post ordering. My water glass sat empty the whole dining experience even after asking for it to be refilled. Overall it was underwhelmed and felt the service lacked in every aspect.

We had an amazing anniversary, we very much appreciated the personal touches celebrating our night. We loved feeling noticed and seen. And the night was made even better when we realized that we recognized a friendly face from Bar Cecil and had an incredibly attentive wait staff. Thank you.

The food has taken a giant nose dive. Shrimp was rubbery. Pan con tomato was terrible. The only thing worthy of Del Rey was the cheesecake and the service. Also, it was better with the darker lighting.

Took my mom here for her birthday. It is a small restaurant that serves tapas. Great place for a date. White staff was excellent and fun. This restaurant sits in a boutique hotel and the atmosphere is awesome. Highly recommend.

Beautifully redecorated and reimagined. An amazing happy hour menu. Enrique is awesome- super knowledgeable and friendly. Can't wait to go back!

Del Rey is one of those unexpected, hidden away gems. You'd never know it was there. But it definitely is and it is definitely worth a visit. Last evening, we brought friends from out of town. True foodies. And they were charmed from the moment we stepped in until the very last martini. An amazing meal, wonderful cocktails, a sultry atmosphere, and some of the best service in town. Special thanks to our server, Enrique, for treating us like VIPs and close family members all at the same time.

We had such a special time at Del Rey for our wedding anniversary! We were greeted with a sweet handwritten congratulations card and complimentary cava. The ambience was a unique experience, the service was very hospitable, and the tapas were delicious- we ordered the gambas pintxo, olives, tuna belly charcuterie, and bombas. The cocktails were on point. This will definitely will be one of our signature spot when we return to Palm Springs.

Service for drinks and apps was great. As the evening progressed and they got busier we saw less and less of our server and our diner tapas took FOREVER to receive. Drinks and water went dry and no communication. Ambiance was nice and food once arrived was ok.

Del Rey inside Villa Royale is moody, luxe, and full of Spanish small plates.
