The best roasted salsa I've ever had. Delicious tacos, and margaritas. I just think they need to up their game on their chips which are probably mass produced.

Booked a reservation for 9:15pm and when I arrived they were closed. The front desk told me they tend to close early if slow. Not right for customers paying to uber to them for them to be closed, very disappointing.

We love this little place, it's a restaurant tucked inside of The Saguaro Hotel. On Tuesday and Thursday they have Taco Tuesday: $5 tacos - that are really good! Come before 6PM for the Happy Hour menu and try some of those wonderful treats like the Mexican Corn or the Nachos. Service is usually quite good with servers who take the time to get to know you (if the place is not packed).

Meh it was ok. Service was stellar. The food was ok. The cushions on the chairs were dirty and bar stools were ripped. Not upscale at all.

I went to El Jefe for family dinner. Tacos was so delicious and wrap was also nice. Service level was good and they treated us polite manner.

Most of the food items were incredibly spicy and didn't make for the best dining experience.

It is good food and not too expensive. Very easy if you are staying at the Saguaro. The staff is very friendly and I really appreciate that.

It must have been meet your friends for party night at El Jefe when we dined. My review is probably not a fair reflection on day to day service, but the intense noise was pretty overwhelming.

We used to go for taco Tuesday but haven't been in a while. So this was a group of eight people who get together four new restaurant or different restaurant every month and the service was excellent. The food was excellent. The prices were reasonable. Just a really good time and we'll be doing it again

Manager Liz took care of us near closing time. The guac and salsa were unique and had an eclectic flavor of its own. We loved the ambiance and colored lights.

The best cappuccino I ever had. The bartender who made it is exceptional, and the brand of coffee was excellent. I had the breakfast sandwich and the ingredients were of high quality, including the brioche bun. Last but not least, the service was amazing and very efficient and very personable. I will be back for breakfast, but I also want to try lunch. Checked out the lunch menu and it looks very exciting. The prices for breakfast and lunch are the best I've seen in Palm Springs. Great prices and quality food. The chef is first rate.

Great food, great service, nice atmosphere. I had the El Jefe Burger in a lettuce wrap, my dining companion had the carne asada tacos. Both were delicious! And the margaritas are super tasty.

In town for Labor Day weekend and decided to have a late dinner at El Jefe since we were staying at The Saguaro. This restaurant was great. We had the Mahi fish tacos and they were incredible. Staff was friendly and accommodating. They even gave us a couple of complimentary Candy Shots for it being our anniversary. The rest of the drinks were also great. Strongly recommend El Jefe Restaurant.
